We loved everything about our stay at Saxonis Villa. The owners and all the staff are extremely friendly, helpful and full of fantastic tips about what to do in Papigkon. Our room with light, airy and spacious. And even though our stay was during a major heat wave in Greece, even without air conditioning, the room was designed to be cool in the heat and warm in the cold. Highly recommend this accommodation

Amazing accommodation - George and Athina are such wonderful hosts, very generous, kind and absolutely lovely - I felt so much at home and cared for. If I could I would stay for weeks. The rooms are super cozy and comfortable and offer everything you need. The breakfast was delicious, prepared in front of your eyes, huge and perfect for long hikes. When I arrived very late at night I got picked up from George and was taken to the accomodation by a quad as it's located a little bit up the hill. It's the perfect place for hiking, as many paths are starting in Mikro Papigko. Also perfect location for the Zagori Trek which I did. In my opinion Mikro Papigko is cozier and nicer than Megalo Papigko as it is smaller and maybe a little less touristic, just as if you would live here :)

Vitsa is frozen in time, like in a fairy tale. The hotel is beautiful and the hosts are kind and pleasant. Anna is a great cook and her pies are so delicious. We were lucky enough to try her alevropita (Αλευρόπιτα). We will come again... Many more times, that's for sure.

Very nice, clean and quiet room in a small, peaceful village not far away from Monodendri and the Vikos Gorge. The spotless room is rather small, however there is a spacious common area and a large, well-equipped kitchen. Very nice and knowledgeable host who speaks perfectly English (and German btw).
