Arirang burst onto the hotel scene less than 3 months ago. Within that short period of time it quickly achieved a nearly perfect review score of 9.7. Though initially a bit sceptical, photos showcasing its hillside beauty soon won us over. And the reality even surpassed our expectations! For one thing the view from the lounge was breathtaking. As was the night vista of the glittering lights of the city and the sea beyond it. A truly magical location that would normally warrant a high price tag. But even more amazing was the warm hospitality of Maria, the manager and her staff. The service here was indeed phenomenal! Nothing was too much for them. We came without our own transport so Maria organized a driver for us at prices we were happy with. We were very touched when she even enlisted her son-in-law to help us despite our reluctance to take advantage. Thank you Maria & Tirte. Both of you were fantastic! Then there was the room. It came with a large, comfortable bed, with a clean attached bathroom. We even had our own kitchenette complete with a sink. There was good functioning WIFI, hot water shower and air-conditioning. All these plus a delicious daily made-to-order breakfast! And did I mention the asking price? Shh! It was incredibly low for what you get! Perhaps the only fly in the ointment was the stairs. You have to go down a level to reach your room. But for us the overwhelming positives of Arirang far outweigh this minor inconvenience. In fact we even viewed it as a chance to get in some exercise after overindulging in the scrumptious food here in Senggigi. So, yes we are no longer perplexed why everyone gushed over this place. Neither would you too if you were to stay here.

The location is very quiet, on the west side of Lombok. Chris and his family organize different tours and also a cooking lesson that is a must! We learned a lot of different Indonesian recipes and had a great lunch after the lesson. Chris helped us renting a scooter (we didn't have to worry about anything, the scooter was there in the morning ready for us to pick it up - and btw, it's a great way to explore that area). Chris also gave us very useful tips to travel by ourselfes. We did the "Cultural and Beach Tour" and it was the best thing we did to explore local places and Kuta's area and our guide was really kind and explained a lot of things. I'm looking forward to coming back to do the Snorkeling Tour and the Mount Rijani tour.

The staff is well trained and go an extra mile to make your stay comfortable. Extremely warm and hospitable customer service. Beach front property, direct access to a clean beach. Clean rooms with huge comfortable bed, thoughtfully curated menu, different areas of seating and relaxing based on your mood, a nice pool to soak in. Other services like laundry, taxi etc are easily available upon request.

The Puncak is a charming boutique villa that offers a delightful sense of privacy and a warm, cosy atmosphere. Jean-Paul, the host, was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond in assisting us with arranging transportation, providing recommendations for local cuisine, organizing scooter rentals, and even planning a boat trip. He was always available for a friendly chat and met our needs. The breakfast at The Puncak was exceptional and stood out as the best we have ever had. The wide array of options and the tasty flavours made each morning a delight. The sunsets viewed from the villa were simply breathtaking. We found ourselves captivated by the ever-changing sky, and it felt as if time stood still while we sat there, immersed in the beauty. Our time at Lombok was incredible; regrettably, we couldn't extend our stay. The Puncak made our experience even more memorable, and we highly recommend this place to anyone seeking an exceptional retreat.

Awesome Homestay Experience in Lombok Mangsit Amazing stay at a homestay in Lombok Mangsit, and I have to say, it was fantastic! The host was super friendly and went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect for me. The room was really spacious and had a hot shower, which was a nice after traveling several months i could relax here.. The whole place is so calm and peaceful, perfect for just chilling out. You can rent a scooter right there, so getting around is easy. Shops in Senggigi are close by, which was super convenient. Breakfast was a highlight—fresh pancakes and fruit every morning. So good! Plus, the beach is just a short walk away. I spent a lot of time there and also checked out Nuf Said Warung on the beach. Their food was really tasty. Overall, if you’re looking for a relaxed, clean, friendly place to stay in Lombok Mangsit, this homestay is perfect. I felt so relaxed and well taken care of. Highly recommend it! Came back several times!
