Pushkar Cooking Art and Home Stay is a gem. It is close to the lake, the market and all the action in Pushkar, but it's on a side road, so you don't hear the honking. The hosts are lovely people who are really knowledgeable, speak excellent English, cook the best Indian food and keep the place really clean. We had dinner at the home stay every day, because the food is superb, the portions are generous, and everything is clean. It's like an oasis in the noise and quagmire (lit. and fig.) of India. We actually extended our stay here with three days, which we have never done before. I highly recommend this place because it's a great value for money, the room is comfortable, they provide complimentary items, and again...the food is awesome. Our kids also loved staying and playing here, and it's a great place to meet fellow travelers. The hosts will provide you with all the necessary information about transport, sights, etc. Ah yes, I nearly forgot: THEY LITERALLY SHOWERED US WITH ROSE PETALS when we left. Thank you Shivani et al, my kids miss you and Pushkar :)

When you enter in this guesthouse you enter an entire family and you are more than welcomed ! Spacious, clean, hot water 24/24, perfect situation closed to the sacred lake, a nice rooftop to escape the activity of the city or maybe do some yoga, the real good atmosphere of a family united (...) they even have their own temple ! Cookers are chiefs and can give you lessons for a good price. Always ready to help and for a good talk, I really spent a good and too short moment there ! Thanks again for all you are 🙏🙏🙏

Milk Man Guest House is quite easy to find. Everywhere around you'll see blue-white signs showing you the way to this Guest House. The family which runs this place is really lovely. They do anything possible to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Cleaning, cooking food, giving advice for walks in the city or how to get to other cities. Pushkar lake and the city center are just a 5 to 10 minutes walk away from Milk Man Guest House. And still it is a quiet place and you barely hear the street noise from the center. The prices for rooms and food are unbelievable low. But it doesn't mean you get less quality. Everything is home-cooked, so you will enjoy some real traditional Indian dishes here. I stayed in the dorm first. After one weel I decided to change to a private room. And I tell you just this: I paid in other cities in India more Rupees for a bed in dorm than in Milk Man Guest House for a big private room.

Suri Is such a warm and sweet guy. You will really feel save and comfortable around him. Rooms are spacious and cosy and the bathroom is of a higher quality then most hotels I saw in India; and the showers are very high, wich is super if you are a tall person like myself!
