I don’t even know where to begin. I loved every single part of my stay here. The couple living here made me feel like I was a part of their family. The wife cooked me all my meals which were not only cheap but also so delicious. They made sure I was okay and I felt safe all the time. Besides they helped me with my further travels so I was prepared for the next step. I had a lot of conversations with the wife, and even tough her English is not the best, it was a joy. There is really not much to do on Monroe Island, but the husband of the family helped me with a bike and a kayak. My deepest thanks to the both of you!

The accomodation was super cozy and clean. And Anand was the best host! He organized everything perfectly for us - from cheap kayak rental to sunrise boat tours - and he took us to a temple festival and on a bicycle tour around the island - it was simply lovely! And his amazing mum prepared the most delicious food for us (her egg curry was the best!) :) We didn’t feel like customers but friends during our stay, would always come back!

Our stay at Mundro Garden Homestay was amazing. Deepa and her family were so welcoming and kind. We were always greeted with a smile and a positive attitude. The room was very comfortable and clean and was located in a nice quiet, private corner of the garden. The table and chairs outside offered a great space to relax and eat meals. The homestay offers bicycle rental at a very reasonable 200 rupees per day. The food prepared every day was amazing! Everything we ate was delicious, and we enjoyed trying all of the local Keralan dishes that Deepa and her family made. You must also take the boat tour, it really showcases the beauty of the island. Overall, we absolutely love this homestay and will definitely return if we come back to Kerala!

The wellcoming from Sajeev and Vijayan was fantastic. We had access to all of the amenities in the house and they provided us with great advice to really enjoy our stay in Varkala. Sharing breakfast with them was great time to talk and learn a bit more about the place and ways to reach our next destination. The level of service was outstanding and they really cared for us during our stay in Madhav Mansion. We would highly recommend it! A very lovely homestay which I would recommend to anybody looking for a quiet, peaceful place to unwind. The rooms were really nice and the family is so kind and helpful. It feels like a home away from home, very relaxing. The location is great and we enjoyed going for morning and evening strolls. I would definitely stay here again.
