Stayed twice at this little family hotel. Love the location and all the little rituals the owners have. For example, when checking out you can choose two of over 15 variants of photographs of the local nature that the owner takes himself. Since we stayed as a family, everyone got to choose two and now we have a great collection of photos of these beautiful area. The hotel is comfortable, clean and has it’s own small onsen. Thank you for the hospitality!

The place is very well managed and the hosts were extremely friendly, a good location if you're thinking of staying near shimoda but closer to the beaches. There were also 2 private onsens free of charge that we loved using and the free breakfast was nice as well. There was also free washing machine service provided. Drive slowly to reach the entrance because it's a tiny road

I had an absolutely wonderful time here. The guesthouse is surrounded by lush green nature and a mere 10 min walk from the beach. Aside from your own room, you also have access to the very well-equipped communal kitchen, free e-bike rental, and surfing equipment! Most importantly, Taka's family and staff are all such warm people. I felt like I wasn't just staying in a guesthouse but invited to share their life for the time I was there.

There is nice owners, who cares about customers. Who able to support and provide any help anytime. The location is one of the best, 3- 5 mins by walk to the Shirohama beach. Along with that, the house is super clean. They do cleaning all time!!! Everything is in Japanese way, clean and nice!!!

This hotel is close to the railway station with just 25 mins walk, and if you want to take the black ship it only takes about 15 mins’ walk. Several restaurants are near and there’s a 711 around, so very convenient. The hotel is equipped with everything you need, and it’s owner is a very kind and helpful lady which understands Chinese.

I had a fantastic experience at this guest house! The owner,Asami, was exceptionally kind and accommodating. Initially, I was concerned about the location being a bit far, but I found it very easy to walk to the guest house from the JR station. The guest house is ideally situated by the river, making it perfect for viewing the Kawazu cherry blossoms and enjoying the night sakura. It’s only a 5 - 10 minute walk to nearby onsen and delicious soba dinner options. I truly appreciate Asami's hospitality and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

The structure is greatly decorated and the staff is cool! We enjoyed very much our stay and I highly reccomend it :)

Pension Yumigahama is set in a residential area, 3 minutes’ walk from curved, sandy Yumigahama Beach. Wi-Fi and parking are free, and fishing equipment is available for rent.
