Savet and his family is warm and welcoming. I immidiately felt at home. Thoughtful touches: • Shampoo & body wash • Toothbrush & toothpaste • Mosquito spray • The family was having dinner in town & offered to collect me enroute home after having dinner in town too. I would highly recommend booking a village tour with Savet. He opened doors to a world foreign to me. Very informative and insightful.

What a fantastic homestay with Pisey and her family. We had some traditional rooms while other guests stayed in beautiful lodges with shared bathroom. Everything working just fine (lights, wi-fi, hot water, electricity, etc.) This place is set a few kilometers away from the city, in a quiet, 35-family village. Easily reachable by car or even tuk-tuk. Great place to relax from the noise of the city. Pisey has cooked several meals for us - her cooking is excellent, with just fresh ingredients she sources from the village and markets. We also took her cooking class, which I highly recommend. No skills needed, she will take your from zero to home-made fish hamock in no time, including fetching ingredients from the garden. Pisey and her family have looked after us carefully, ensuring we were always comfortable and enjoying our stay. They also actively support other small businesses in the village and their community in general. You can easily reach the old bamboo train, bat cave, phare circus, city center or other points of interest from there by tuk-tuk or taxi. There is also a resort nearby that accepts external guests to their swimming pool should you need it.

This place is amazing! This is the perfect place to stay if you want to visit the famous batcave, the killing caves and the bamboo train. The best part is that you get to see and experience how the cambodians in the countryside live. The homestay is very cosy and comfortable within the context. The family is very welcoming and they make you feel at home. The food is delicious. Saro gives very complete tours and he knows a lot about history of the place and the country. I will come back if i am in Cambodia again!

These guys are fantastic, this is not a guesthouse but a home. Life is just easy at Bar Ang, you have everything you can possibly need when traveling. Anut and John’s hospitality and thoughtfulness are hard to describe, they just put so much of their hearts into this place. Definitely a highlight of our trip. The guesthouse, the scooters, the food, the help, the morning coffees, the noodle breakfasts, the stories, Anut’s smile and most of all, the company of these two- we are so grateful to have come across this place. We really enjoyed our stay. It is very welcoming place, family is so nice. Very good rooms and breakfast. Bikes and moto available for rent. The whole atmosphere of the place is just great. The owner also helped us to organize our transport to Thailand. For sure we would stay here if back in Battambang.

This is the best place to stay if you want to experience Battambang. Room was huge, bed was comfy, everything clean, nice terrace and common area, very nice breakfast and lunch options, helpful and very friendly stuff - everything was perfect. The Homestay provides laundry service, helps with booking tickets and hires THE BEST tuk tuk drivers that will take you to unforgettable places for small $. I’m forever grateful that I was able to spend my time here and get to know Mister Yo. Without him we would miss so much of Battambang. I highly recommend to stay here - it is worth every penny.

The couple that run this quaint establishment are lovely. They speak English and are welcoming. The small restaurant has fair prices for their menu. Staff were very helpful with organizing all of my activities to ensure I was taken care of. A very relaxing experience and recommended. Everything is a short tuk tuk ride away in BTB.

Nice homestay with a restaurant, lots of information on tours and buses, and a pickup service. They organised my cooking class for me. My tour driver (organised separately) knew where this place was even though it wasn't listed.

Very nice homestay, hosts are very warm and helpful. Wr got free pick up from the station, also if you buy breakfast, it is very filling and tasty. Room was very basic but comfortable.

Great for a stay in the area , lovely and clean , big breakfast- good food available all day -great hosts nice and chilled and very helpful - they have trips available from hotel good value for money and we had a great driver for the day - helped with onward travel also (Inc pick from home stay) great value for money

What a lovely stay in Homestay O’kay. A nice wooden house on stilts was our room. Surrounded by beautiful trees and the river nearby. Sam and Annie were really nice people with great hospitality. They helped with tuktuks and our nightbus to Sihnoukville. Sam told us lot about the Cambodian live and habits. He built the houses and garden and everything himself. Two lovely dogs Ardi and Lucky watching the property. We recommend this Homestay if you want to be around the locals and authentic life with all the comfort.

Very nice and private home stay at the property of a lovely family. Bun is a great host, he will do his best to make your stay perfect. He speaks English very well, and can arrange tours with wonderful guides who also speak English. He has a free pick-up service (which we recommend, because his property is not easy to find). Room was spacious and quiet, and has good airco and a large bathroom. The bed was comfy. There was free water to refill our water bottles.

The host family were so friendly. The room was perfect and I also thoroughly enjoyed the food (breakfast and one dinner) I ate at the homestay. The location was also great - it didn't take long to walk into town. The tour I booked through the hosts (with So Phorn) was also excellent and great value.
