Great value for the money, Helen the owner is very nice, she runs the place perfectly and the location is also perfect 3 minutes walk from the pier.

Sam is an awesome host. She has all of the intel on the best places to eat, drink, snorkel etc. She knows all of the owners of the local restaurants and can tell you when and what is open as some of the restaurants have irregular opening times. We found our stay at Sam’s Place very comfortable and Sam made us feel totally welcome. The room was quiet and clean and there are outside soft chairs and sofa to relax. The beach is about 50 metres away; the mini Mart about 20 metres away. Highly recommended.

I really enjoyed my stay at Macondo! The owners, Ian and Mela, are super friendly and give great recommendations on what to do in M'pai Bay. The accommodation is located in the middle of the village, and only a 10 minute walk to the beach. The room was spacious, the mattress was very comfortable and I really liked that the accommodation is a traditional wooden house giving an authentic feel. The shared balcony is also very nice to relax and read a book. When you stay at Macondo don't forget to try Mela's amazing dumplings - they're one of the best ones I've had!

Comfortable, clean accomodation and the owners Simon and Srey Long are super lovely and accomodating. The garden is beautiful, very nice to chill out there on the hammocks with the cute cats. A bit out of town (5 min walk) which is nice for a bit of peace and quiet ☺️ Highly recommend!

The room we had on the ground floor was lovely - aircon, mosquito net, robes and towels provided. We had an issue with mosquitos in the bathroom of the room and straight away they sprayed our room and have give incense to ward off the little buggers! The breakfast they offer is second to none - absolutely massive portions so you won’t need any lunch! Was a great experience - thank you!! Wish we could have stayed longer.

Fantastic guest house that's very close to the ferry & main strip. There are plenty of shops, restaurants & ticket offices close by, which makes things very easy. Very helpful manager running things. Nice terrace to sit & relax .... or sit & work. Great value for money!

We loved our stay at Happiness Guesthouse so much we kept extending! A really beautiful house right by the sea, with a great balcony for relaxing and hosted by a lovely family. We would definitely return here, 100% recommend!!

With the friendliest staff and in a superb secluded location, this place is absolute paradise. The owner and her friend took such great care of us, and we really felt part of the family. We saw phenomenal plankton on one of the nights, the resort is clean and well run and the food was all exquisite. Cannot recommend highly enough.
