Hemaka and the team at Liselma Residence could not have been more hospitable and helpful. This is truly was one of the most memorable and relaxing places I've ever stayed in. Perched on a hillside with commanding views across Kandy. Floor to ceiling windows filled our enormous room with natural light. Perhaps the largest and most comfortable bed I've slept in. The white walls, wooden floors and spaciousness all contribute to an atmosphere of serenity and tranquility. We felt special here. Thank you so much to Hemaka , Opisala and team. I could not recommend Liselma residence highly enough.

The rooms were really cozy and comfortable and we had a great sleep. The host and his family were really helpful. We were going on a hike, and host even sent a vehicle to pick our bags up from the city before check-in. Breakfast was great. They offered many types of food which was really tasty and fresh while also catering to our specific requests (eg: Allergies, Vegetarians). Overall a great experience.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Villa Olde Ceylon with my family, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. This charming boutique hotel is a true gem, beautifully decorated…. The owners have clearly invested a lot of love and care into this place, continually updating and enhancing the decor, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The hospitality at Villa Olde Ceylon is outstanding. The owners are incredibly friendly and attentive. They quickly arranged for a cheap tuktuk, when we wanted to go out for dinner. Moreover, the value for money is excellent. With such beautiful surroundings and top-notch service, you truly get more than you pay for.

The accommodation was very comfortable and pleasant. The room is in a great standard. Plus they have a super terrace with a beautiful view. The hosts were super nice, they helped us with transport. We spent three nights at this lovely house with a beautiful terrace offering a magnificent view of the Hanthana range. The cleanliness was impressive, and the bathroom was well-stocked with toothpaste, shampoo, and body wash. The breakfast and dinner was delicious. The family’s exceptional efforts to ensure our comfort coupled with all other facilities made it our best stay in Sri Lanka.

I couldn’t be more happy with my stay at Hideaway. It was one of the best stays I had in the whole of Sri Lanka. The owners are incredibly sweet and also very nice to talk to. We ve been very impressed about this family, they are really welcoming and also a warm family, about the accommodation... I don t have something to say, the pictures are real, it s clean, it s cozy, everything is nice for couple of days, we also ask to have breakfast in the morning, and I have just one word ... DELICIOUS 😋... they prepared a lot of food for us even if we don t eat so much .. just to have something in the morning in ours bellies 😂 but was very good that s for sure I recommend this accommodation for a couple of days because you will feel like in a Sri Lankan Family here, they are a really nice family. ❤️❤️🤗

Jaye was a nice and helpful host. I only stayed in Kandy for a short time but the homestay was great. Nice view overlooking the city but still walking distance to the center. Very clean and quiet. Would recommend!
