This is the best place I stayed in Sri Lanka so far. Great view of the mountains and the city, convenient location with stores nearby and everything about the place is pristine! If I had to stay in Kandy for a month I would definitely do it here. I needed to use the wi-fi for an important call and was getting 60+Mbps upload and download speed. You cannot find a better place to unwind during a trip, it was just what we needed after hiking Adams Peak and travelling up north.

The place was very tidy and well-maintained, giving it a pleasant and welcoming feeling. The staff were very friendly and helpful, was always ready to assist with anything we needed. I enjoyed a lot my staying. It was a long period and I was feeling like at home. Both Moon and Chanaka were helping me with everything I needed, they even went with me shopping în the town, made lunch for me or ordered food if I prefered eating at home. And all that just becaise they wanted me to feel at home. And I did 😍 The place îs much more than you can see în the photos, you have your own jumgle and lots of plants în your balconies which give you intimacy. Wish them luck în everytihng matter to them!!!

Nice view. The room was clean. Host guy was really helpful and nice. He took us to local restaurant. He also help us to find the best bus connection to Lipton Seat when google maps failed. I really recommend this hostel.

The room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed. There was hot water and the wifi worked well. Breakfast was delicious and there were so many options which you could choose from. Location is great, really quiet and pretty but only 15 mins away from the city and tuktuks are very cheap. Sri was so welcoming and willing to help us with anything that we needed. Would very much recommend!

The Homestay is operated by a heartfelt loving host family. You feel welcome immediately and home. The rooms are pleasantly organized. Especially the light-flooded common room with dining table and arms lines for reading is inviting. From the terraces you have a view view to the Knuckle mountains. Mahesh is a helpful organizational talent, the mother prepares for breakfast, as well as tasty local food on request. I felt very comfortable in this Homestay.

Jaye’s Homestay was a great property to stay at. The owner, Jaye was a great host who kind and attentive. He prepared a delicious and giant Sri Lankan breakfast. Highly recommend. The rooms are spacious and the shower has good water pressure. The view from the shared balcony was lovely. The walk to the city, whilst up hill is only 10 minutes away maximum. Very good stay!

Cham and his family are incredibly great hosts. He supports you wherever he can, is always there for you and available, helps you organise trips and simply makes you feel at home in his homestay. The vibe in the house is incredibly positive. Everyone smiles and it's just lovely. The breakfast in the morning is wonderful

I found this to be a lovely homestay. The place is filled with wood carved artwork, it’s like a museum. The host family is very kind, will help you with what you need and work their magic in the kitchen creating delicious meals for breakfast and dinner in my case. The also organize tours, which I joined and that was money and time very well spent. The homestay is a good 10 minute walk to town center, but it’s a relatively quiet one along the lake (north side).

Great staff, nice view and located close to the city center! Book a tour on forehand via withlocals.com and look for a tour with host Buddhima. I promise she'll elevate your stay in Kandy and let you taste the best (street)food, fruits and spices. The rooms in the homestay are large, clean and the breakfast is good!
