I stayed at Saman's homestay for 5 days. I can only thank Saman and his family for all their availability. They supported me in everything I needed, and with all the doubts I had. They booked me the ecopark, dambulla, pollonaruwa, pidurangula, Lion rock, bus to Kandy, cooking class, ayurveda SPA, everything, with the best prices! The garden is super relaxing to rest, read a book, have breakfast. The room with private bathroom has everything you need and is very clean. I had dinner one night and it was delicious. They also washed some clothes. Without a doubt, staying at this homestay made my trip wonderful and special. Once again, thank you! Samam, I'm waiting for the photo when you eat the mango!!!

Amazing location in the middle of the forest. The sounds of nature are just out of this world and you can spot all kinds of animals from your bungalow. Can be intimidating for a person traveling alone but also very very fascinating. Loved the breakfast and the kindness of all staff members. I miss the peace already!

- Perfect host, very attentive but never too much - helped in every situation fair and square - Food was awesome (and plenty so prepare :D ) - Room was clean and comfortable - authentic homestay in the Jungle So we have stayed for 3 nights and it was by far the most welcoming and warm experience we have ever encountered throughout various countries. We were shown around, talked a lot to all the Family and instantly became Friends. The food was superb but since i caught a cold my appetite wasnt so big. Instead i was treated with medicine and steaming hot water to inhale (i didnt order it, the host just noticed my condition and arranged all that) We have been helped also with every inquiry regarding Tours, Safari, privat drivers, u name it and never felt taken advantage of. For us it will be the highlight of our Sri Lanka tour so dont hesitate if you think about staying Here. Do it, it will be a wonderful experience with perfect authentic people.

All the facilities are provided (hot shower, air conditioning etc.) The owner is very kind and available for every request making you feel at home.
