We loved staying at the dar ait bouguemez. Rooms are decorated in a traditional way, ours was wonderful, on the ground floor, with the cosiest bathroom we've seen during our one week trip across Morocco. It was a bit chilly in the January so we asked for the gas heater and it was easy to heat the space in 30min. Thanks to that we slept like babies under a thick duvet and blankets. The place is spotlessly clean, the water under the shower was warm and available with good pressure. The best thing was the delicious breakfast and an ever better dinner consisting of a soup, tajine, mint tee and fruit dessert which we ordered for the both evenings we were staying. Homemade and delicious! This house is located in a completely remote village with no WiFi and no phone connection so be prepared for that. We loved that fact almost as much as the hospitality of the owner and his wife! At the end of our stay we bought two lovely wool carpets at a great price. Thank you so much for the stay.

After a long and beautiful drive through the mountains we arrived at this special place. Especially Abdul (the host) made it feel like a warm bath. He is a truly kind and passionate guy and he is nice to talk to. We learned a lot about the Moroccan/Berber culture. It's a very well organized place with a great terrace and place to eat. The food (diner and breakfast) was the best we had in Morocco with a lot of local/homemade ingrediënts. Abdul gave our Moroccan trip a little extra;)

The receptionist was very friendly, and the Riad was nicely decorated. Great location near the waterfall. If you walk 400 meters, you'll see monkeys playing on the grass. I recommend Riad Heermans.

Very hospitable staff! Extremely friendly, Ismail went above and beyond to make us feel at home! Very reasonable price and close to the waterfalls. Arrived at dusk after a very long drive. We only saw one member of staff evening and morning, and he did everything to make us comfortable and prepared a late meal. The room was small but comfortable, with a balcony and super view over the reservoir.

Nice and clean comfortable room, clean bathrooms and beauuutiful garden! You can see pomegranates, oranges and grapes in their beautiful garden. This is the perfect stay to relax. It is 5 minutes walking from the waterfalls! Perfect location! The manager is a very nice and super helpful lady! My husband and I loved everything in this stay! Highly recommend it!

Absolutely worth the detour! Soo Bin has the most stunning grounds and garden. Rooms are artfully decorated with lots of attention to detail. Majid is a friendly and welcoming host and the food was delicious! The lower levels of the reservoir did not take away from our experience, still such a stunning area to explore and only a 10 minute walk to the waterfront. 10/10.
