I had a great time staying here. The hosts are very friendly and offered to drive me around since the train wasn't running. They give the place a very personal atmosphere and the chat was smooth and very interesting despite the language barrier. Lovely people who love to host :) The place was comfortable and breakfast very good.

The best thing about this homestay is the family who’s running the place. They are all very nice and very helpful and went out of their way to make my stay as comfortable as possible. For this reason I even stayed a bit longer than initially planned. One day I choose to drive to Alishan and back after I realised that every other place near the park wouldn’t be as nice as this one. Besides the great hospitality I’ve experienced I must say that the room was also very nice, clean and well equipped. The homestay is in a street which is very quiet at night and it’s a 15 tot 20 minute drive to Sun Moon Lake. If I ever visit Taiwan again I surely hope to be able to stay here again.

Excellent and warm service from this lovely family. The room was very clean and spacious with a small balcony to enjoy the view on the lake. The location was also ideal, with a 2 minutes walk to reach the market street. If you do not need an easy access to the main bus station on the area (in Suishe), you will spend a better time in Ita Thao in this BnB. Strongly recommanded !

We stayed two nights in this beautiful family-owned B&B and close to the bus stop and the lake. The owners are exceptional: they proactively helped us book a bus to Alishan, gave us directions on where to rent bikes and what to visit and were always welcoming us with a smile and a chat. The room is spacious, completely new and has a partial view of the lake. A plus is that they have a beautiful corgi and their cat is also an active member of the staff, approving everyone that passes by 😄. The B&B provides snacks for their guests that are refilled daily, and there is a microwave and a washing machine/dryer that can be used by the guests. I 1000% recommend this establishment for your stay in Sun Moon Lake

The owner is so friendly and helpful, Pearl helped us with everything during our stays. the room is very clean and modern. The breakfast was amazing, she prepared everything according to our wishes. I stayed so many home stays along with my road trip, I have never experienced something like this so homey, excellent service and definitely recommended to stay here!
