The personal touch, professionalism, caring attitude of the staff is outstanding. This was our second stay for this trip and they assigned us the best room they have but it's on the 4th (highest) floor. However the staff was there to help bring our 2 heavy luggage up though we checked in late due to traffic delay. When we checked out at 4am to catch a flight, the staff was again there to bring down our luggage. He waited for our Grab car to arrive, helped to load up our luggage before saying goodbye to us. What more can we ask. Kudos to Bamboo Homestay. We'll stay there when we visit again. Highly recommended. Fantastic location with many food stalls nearby. Free washer and dryer on 5th floor was a great help too.

I echo everyone's praise of Stella's breakfast! She makes bread, but all of her food is delicious. The homestay is clean, comfortable, and in a great location in the Old Quarter. It's easy to miss the street entrance and staircase, but once you enter, it is a quiet oasis of hospitality. Stella gave us lots of tips and arranged everything from the food tour, laundry, transport, and more. She also upgraded our room. Most notably for us, the best thing about Tranquility Stay is Stella herself. I stayed 2 nights, but my husband ended up staying nearly 2 additional weeks because he'd lost his passport. Without Stella's help, it would have been even longer!

Lovely homestay with all the amenities you'd expect from a hotel. The host could've not been more responsive to any questions or requests we had, and took care of our laundry for next to nothing too! Perhaps more importantly for a city like Hanoi, it's centrally located yet tucked just enough in the back corner that reaching the room and opening the large window we could actually hear bird song rather than incessant traffic noice or other people. So cherish it for the quiet hideaway it provides!
