The location of this accommodation was perfect! Really close to the old quarter, train, lake etc! And very quiet indeed! Rooms were so cute, cozy and really good size! Rik communicated with us well, instructions to enter and how to use facilities were very clear. Definitely would stay here again!

I echo everyone's praise of Stella's breakfast! She makes bread, but all of her food is delicious. The homestay is clean, comfortable, and in a great location in the Old Quarter. It's easy to miss the street entrance and staircase, but once you enter, it is a quiet oasis of hospitality. Stella gave us lots of tips and arranged everything from the food tour, laundry, transport, and more. She also upgraded our room. Most notably for us, the best thing about Tranquility Stay is Stella herself. I stayed 2 nights, but my husband ended up staying nearly 2 additional weeks because he'd lost his passport. Without Stella's help, it would have been even longer!

Feels like home. Rooms are super comfortable and clean. It is an authentic Vietnamese homestay with a lovely family. Just out of the city, you can feel like a local. Lee and his family are very welcoming and can help with anything you need. They speak english too. There are also some shops, restaurants and even cheap public transport near by. It is just nice to stay away from the extremely busy city center. Highly recommend it. I ended up spending a week here.

This Homestay absolutely exceeded our expectations and that was because of the host. When we arrived he and his partner picked us and our bags up from the taxi he had arranged for us. He gave us a personal tour of the stay which was wonderful- great location right in the heart of Old Quarter, but also quiet for good sleep. He even got us welcome drinks while carrying our huge bags up the stairs!! He was always available for questions 24/7. He was always accommodating to our schedule especially on check out. Lastly, we left something in the room - he immediately messaged me and to our disbelief he SHIPPED IT all the way to Ninh Binh to our hotel to meet us on our next leg of the journey. Overall, we were blown away by the hosts hospitality, kindness, and overall value of everything you get staying here. We will be back soon!!

The host is probably the most welcoming person in my life. Communicating with him was very easy and he was always ready to help. Price is very low, and you get everything you need (at least I had everything I need). Very good location: Hanoi Train Street is in 5 minutes walk from the place. Also, I told a host that I'm digital nomad (a kind of), and while I was not asking for anything, I was almost immediately provided with a convenient table.
