We stayed at Lisas for a total of 5 nights in the Familienzimmer. It was a very pleasant experience: the rooms are decorated in a simple but modern and practical way - they were also quite spacious and impeccably clean. Dorothea was so friendly, sweet and helpful to us. Upon our arrival she gave us useful information about the local services and restaurants, and a map with routes for hiking, which made our planning process so much easier since it was our first time in this beautiful region! Every morning we had breakfast at Lisas, which was so varied, fresh and delicious, before going off for a hike around the area. The landscape in Bregenzerwald was breathtaking. There are so many hiking options, and despite the neighbouring villages being quite small, there are plenty of options for trying the local food and drinks, as well as supermarkets and other services, even in the summer. In a nutshell, we had such a lovely stay and would love to come back sometime!

The owners are warm and friendly and the location is quiet an easy to find. The stay was absolutely wonderful- there is a shared kitchen and a guest room for guests and the kitchen was fully equipped with all possible amenities like a kettle, toaster, microwave, oven, stove as well as with all sorts of plates, bowls, mugs and cutlery- everything that you could need for a comfortable stay. The guest room had a coffee machine and was fully stocked with creamers, sugar and coffee as well as offered an assortment of teas as well as some light alcohols. The bedroom was lovely and very clean and airy and you cannot beat the view of the mountains right outside your windows. The shower was very clean and had hot water available at all times. Overall, very pleasant stay and I would highly recommend!

Landhaus Maria Grün is situated in Feldkirch. The property is around 2.5 km from Montfort House, 2.8 km from Schattenburg and a 13-minute walk from Katzenturm. Beautiful location with incredible view over the valley. Nice and quiet. Cosy rooms and hotel.

Gasthof-Pension Wulfenia is a family-run business. located in the center of Gargellen, a quiet village in the midst of the Montafon valley. Beautiful lodge. Our hosts, Helen and Manfred were warm and welcoming. Renata and Sanja looked after us really well. The rooms were well appointed. Manfred’s micro-brewed beers were delicious. Great location in the village.

Completely renovated in 2016, the Schtûbat is located in the village of Andelsbuch in the Bregenz Forest. Lovely location, spacious appartment, very clean and ample facilities.

The rooms are clean and cozy, and the balcony offers an amazing view. The hostess is very welcoming and kind, always ready to help and give useful advice. Breakfast was delicious and varied. We were lucky to experience a local celebration in this charming town — the atmosphere was truly joyful and unforgettable. I sincerely recommend visiting this place!

Haus Matt was the prefect place to stay. Our room was perfectly clean and comfortable. Owners were very kind and helpfull. Breakfest were delicious!

Located in the Bregenz Forest, Gästehaus-Pension Barbara is only a 10-minute walk away from the centre of Andelsbuch. It offers en-suite rooms with satellite TV and free WiFi. I have traveled a lot both world wide for business and four months on the road each year, I have to say this is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. Clean tidy spaces rooms, good location and an excellent breakfast. The host was a warm friendly guy who spoke good English and went out of his way to accommodate. All hotels should be like this.

The hostess drove to pick us up at the bus. The bus driver went way out of his way and wouldn't let us pay the fare.
