We had a great stay here. The owners are very welcoming and helpful via messaging. The rooms are newly decorated (open since may 2024) and spacious with high ceilings. Its so nice to have plenty of parking. Entry is well signposted but quite hard to see at night. After half a flight of stairs there is a lift The breakfast is excellent. The owners have searched far and wide of the best bread and pastries and there is a lovely selection of meats, cheese, fruits and muesli. Overall a highly recommended stay.

The house has a large garden where the family grows own fruits and vegetables. For breakfast they serve home-made apricot and strawberry jams. The room was very clean and well-equipped. The house is situated on a calm street, it was very quiet. Breakfast was very good. Krems is very close - you just need to cross the bridge over the river.

The breakfast was plentiful and good quality. My room was very spacious and included a living/dining area. This is a very traditional property and is obviously well loved and cared for. The Christmas decorations around the property were lovely and a lot of time and care had been put into placing them. I would definitely book again.

Located in Dürnstein in the Wachau Valley, just steps away from the Danube River, Winzerhof - Gästehaus Stöger features a garden, a bicycle storage room, and bicycle rental. Excellently equipped apartment with a view of the garden, which is freely accessible. The advantage is the fridge with great local wines for sale, a free parking spot, the storage room for bikes and the location - a short walk from the center of a beautiful village with restaurants and a nice bakery, near the Danube, right on the bike path. The staff was great and even accommodated us changing our reservation by one night so we could enjoy dinner at their restaurant. Dinner and breakfast were both very good.
