Probably the best place to spend a night in Lahad Datu as everything was very clean and our host Mr. Teo went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. There are several day tours available, e.g. to Kinabatangan river. We didn’t know otherwise would have probably booked with them. The pool and breakfast were also great and Mr Teo made sure we had good suggestions for the other meals. Great stay overall!

Our first stay prior to going to Mulu Pinnacles, we stayed in the 3 bed, fan room. It can get warm during the day. On our return we needed to rest out aching bodies and stayed in the Aircon 3 bed room. The beds are singles and can be put together for a double bed too. Aircon is new and works great. Each room has a clothes rack. Towels and toilet paper provided. Excellent Breakfast was provided every morning. Often Dina asked what we wanted so it was often different. Although banana crepes are their signature breakfast. Robert is from Mulu and it's great to see they have a business and survived after the tough COVID years. Too many foreigners go to Marriott and sadly there isn't enough support for the local businesses.

Beautiful house, very clean and in a good location. The security was so good in the house I felt very safe leaving my valuables there when going out. Lots of privacy, I didn't even see and barely heard the other guests. Great value for money. I stayed in a hotel the previous night that cost twice as much and was half as comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

The host is just from another world. I arrived late (around 22h30) and even though he likes to wake up at 4h30, we kept talking for about half an hour. Then, he goes: "do you want me to show you around?" >> he went on giving me a guided kuching tour in his car. He even wanted to buy me a drink but no shops were open at midnight. Besides this, he would leave traditional sweets for breakfast every day. Legend!!

Located in Damai, Nanga Damai Homestay features a garden and terrace. Among the various facilities of this property are a shared lounge and a bar. Everything was perfect! The place is magical for nature , and the house is full of charm. From our room, we were lucky enough to see a family of proboscis monkeys in the trees surrounding the homestay. The staff is lovely and available at any time. The hosts are incredibly attentive, whether it’s arranging car transfers, booking various activities, or ordering meals on request (special thanks to Emily and Willis). We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend Nanga Damai Homestay !

Situated in Mulu, Mulu Village offers accommodation with a patio. The homestay offers a terrace. It is 2.4 km to Mulu National Park. The nearest airport is Mulu Airport, 2.6 km from Mulu Village. James was so friendly! he picked us up to mulu airport and then he explained everything that we needed to know in Mulu village and in the National park ! rooms are simple but comfortable! great for staying a day before and after your expeditions around gunung mulu national park ! as well breakfast well prepared and in case that we needed he drove us around! i will sure be back at homestay ! thanks heaps !!!

Chỗ nghỉ này có nhìn ra biển, cách Chợ Filipino Market Sabah 4.5 km và Likas City Mosque 2.2 km.... What I loved most was the cleanliness of the house and the complete facilities provided. The host was also very responsive and helpful. I’d definitely love to stay here again in the future!
