Lot of sweet details provided like lemon water, coffee machine, public transport tickets, all ready for when you arrive. The garden is just beautiful!

In a renovated historic building in the heart of the UNESCO-protected Lavaux wine-growing region, this traditional, non-smoking property offers panoramic views over Lake Geneva, the Alps, and the... This is nothing less than where you want to be if you want to get closer to those UNESCO World Heritage vineyards. The house is old, renovated with charm and exactly what you would hope for and where you would hope to be. A charming terrace under the shared vines to sip some of their premier Chasselas. Breakfast was superb. In the evening we took a winding path through the vineyards to St. Saphorin to dine on -what else? - filets de perche. The place is truely a jewel nestled amojgst the vineyards with that million dollar view of lake and French alps.

We brought camping chairs because a couple of reviews mentioned a lack of comfy chairs but actually there is an armchair and 4 camping chairs available. Well equipped kitchen. Excellent shower with plentiful hot water. We had a car but there seemed to be a frequent bus service to nearby towns, and the tourist tax funds some discounts, including a daily voucher for 20CHF on public transport. We found that useful for taking the train to Lausanne and Geneva. It was overall a great place to stay.
