The hosts Francisco and Sonia were very welcoming and helpful, they did their very best to make my stay very comfortable, also to advise and make connections for guided tours (you need to have a guide and a Park Permit to go to the archeological sites). The hostal is very centrally located in the town area, but is very quiet within its own substantial garden. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the breakfasts are great. Highly recommended !

Located 100 metres from the main street and a 10-minute walk from Mataveri airport, Hostal Vaihere offers free WiFi and 24-hour front desk assistance in Hanga Roa. A garden is featured on site. The whole place was a dream. Super quiet and homelike. The owner was the nicest person we've ever met and truly made our stay 100% better. We miss him already!

I enjoyed talking to them and they showed traditional dance and made great dinner and breakfast. Also had tour with Alvaro at a cheaper price compared to the other tour companies~

The location is a bit distance from center, but for walking is only about 15-20mins. Breakfast is simple but very good too! Room is spacious and clean! And remember to bring enough cash for the payment, extra 5% with card but it’s okay!

It’s a bit far from town, this is the only negative thing but this house is way cheaper than others so even I take a taxi to go to the town, is’s still reasonable. The best thing is hosts, I’ve never experienced such a high level of kinndness from hosts.

The hostess, Pamela, is excellent. She is constantly doing extra things for the guests to make their stay more comfortable and more enjoyable. In addition, she is a great source of knowledge about the island's tourist facilities, the history of the island and Rapa Nui culture. This was our fourth visit to the island and Hostal Makohe was by far the best place we have ever stayed at.

Offering a barbecue and terrace, Hostal Vieroto is set in Hanga Roa in the Easter Island Region, 400 metres away from the city centre. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. I really enjoyed my stay here. Terrific place on the sea front, walkable from the airport too. Lovely friendly and helpful staff. So close to the centre of town, with loads to do nearby. Only short walks to sunset points and to Maui along the coast. Small sea swimming place and park right opposite. Super clean, nice garden area with chairs and loungers where you can see the sea. I’d definitely stay again and would recommend it to anyone. I am so glad I chose to stay here.
