We walked everywhere and had numerous restaurants to choose from within 5 minutes leisurely walk with a view of the ocean. We felt in total contact with the island while staying there. Got to enjoy the people and rhythm of life at our front door. Never felt crowded even in the height of the summer. The breakfasts were just right - simple and healthy with delicious fruit, vegetable, cheese and baked goods. Sonia and Francisco were wonderful hosts. They made excellent tour recommendations and oriented us to the island on our arrival and during the stay.

Located 100 metres from the main street and a 10-minute walk from Mataveri airport, Hostal Vaihere offers free WiFi and 24-hour front desk assistance in Hanga Roa. A garden is featured on site. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The hostess and employee were so very kind and helpful. We were welcomed at the airport and hostel in style. We received a lot of useful information about the Island and its people. The breakfast was extensive and tasteful and the best we received compared to other regions in Chile. When we had to leave early the hostess made us a breakfast we could take with us. The location was a 20-30 minute walk from the city centre and situated near a single Moai. It was beautiful and for us ideal. It could have been a bit cleaner for my taste (I’m quite a nag with hygiene), but everything else was so great, that it didn’t detract from our stay. We had such a nice time and will definitely stay here again if we return to the Island.

I enjoyed talking to them and they showed traditional dance and made great dinner and breakfast. Also had tour with Alvaro at a cheaper price compared to the other tour companies~

The location is a bit distance from center, but for walking is only about 15-20mins. Breakfast is simple but very good too! Room is spacious and clean! And remember to bring enough cash for the payment, extra 5% with card but it’s okay!

Offering a barbecue and terrace, Hostal Vieroto is set in Hanga Roa in the Easter Island Region, 400 metres away from the city centre. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. Hostal Vieroto is in an excellent location that is both beautiful and convenient. I had a sea facing room where I watched the sun slowly set. It was sublime. The location too is close to many restaurants and is a short walk to downtown with stores and restaurants.
