Host helped prepare breakfast for us in a picnic basket with hot coffee and sandwiches when we went to see sunrise in the morning, definitely highly recommended!

We have never met hosts like these ones. The couple, Pamela and Carlos, are not only nice and friendly and accommodating, but they seriously try to do whatever it takes to make your Rapa Nui experience unforgettable. They offer an airport transfer and a delicious breakfast at no additional cost, even though these are not included in the booking.com offer. They recommend tour agencies, restaurants and other points of interest that are super reliable. They go as far as taking you to some places if you cannot afford other means of visiting. Don't overuse their kindness! As for the Hostal: the room is quite spacious, the bed is very comfortable, all spaces are spotless clean, especially the bathroom. The room is decorated with much taste. You can use the amazingly beautiful outside terraces with lots of flowers to relax. There is a common kitchen shared by all rooms, which is superbly equipped with everything necessary, even for cooking yourself, which you won't do, because the food offered in the restaurants is delicious. Even though there is no air con, the temperature in the room is pleasant with windows open. There are some chickens in the backyard and a lovely cat, that adores snacks. Overall the quality that you receive for the money paid is unbelievable, so look no further and book now!

Located 100 metres from the main street and a 10-minute walk from Mataveri airport, Hostal Vaihere offers free WiFi and 24-hour front desk assistance in Hanga Roa. A garden is featured on site. The owner speaks English and was very informative. I strongly recommend one of the tour companies that he recommended: Rapa Nui Dreams.

I enjoyed talking to them and they showed traditional dance and made great dinner and breakfast. Also had tour with Alvaro at a cheaper price compared to the other tour companies~

It’s a bit far from town, this is the only negative thing but this house is way cheaper than others so even I take a taxi to go to the town, is’s still reasonable. The best thing is hosts, I’ve never experienced such a high level of kinndness from hosts.

I really enjoyed my stay here. Terrific place on the sea front, walkable from the airport too. Lovely friendly and helpful staff. So close to the centre of town, with loads to do nearby. Only short walks to sunset points and to Maui along the coast. Small sea swimming place and park right opposite. Super clean, nice garden area with chairs and loungers where you can see the sea. I’d definitely stay again and would recommend it to anyone. I am so glad I chose to stay here.
