We walked everywhere and had numerous restaurants to choose from within 5 minutes leisurely walk with a view of the ocean. We felt in total contact with the island while staying there. Got to enjoy the people and rhythm of life at our front door. Never felt crowded even in the height of the summer. The breakfasts were just right - simple and healthy with delicious fruit, vegetable, cheese and baked goods. Sonia and Francisco were wonderful hosts. They made excellent tour recommendations and oriented us to the island on our arrival and during the stay.

Located 100 metres from the main street and a 10-minute walk from Mataveri airport, Hostal Vaihere offers free WiFi and 24-hour front desk assistance in Hanga Roa. A garden is featured on site. Hostal Vaihere is a wonderful place to spend your holodays in Rapa Nui. It has beautiful garden, you can use kitchen and common spaces, it's close to the main road, shops and restaurants are just behind the corner. Rooms are specious and beds comfortable. Ita is taking care of his guests like noone else. I was on the island during the festival and every day he was sending me the schedule of activities and keeping me informed if something has changed, he was explaining local life and traditions, sharing the music and was always willing to help and chat a little :) i had a wonderful time there :)

It’s a bit far from town, this is the only negative thing but this house is way cheaper than others so even I take a taxi to go to the town, is’s still reasonable. The best thing is hosts, I’ve never experienced such a high level of kinndness from hosts.

Offering a barbecue and terrace, Hostal Vieroto is set in Hanga Roa in the Easter Island Region, 400 metres away from the city centre. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. Our stay at Hostal Vieroto was fantastic. The location is unbeatable, right across from the ocean, with a breathtaking view. It's just a ten-minute walk to the free Moai statues, perfect for catching both sunrise and sunset. The room was clean, and the communal kitchen made it easy to prepare our own meals. The host Claudio went above and beyond by helping us find a reliable local tour guide, making our Easter Island trip smooth and enjoyable. Even though we only stayed for two nights, it wasn't enough—we're definitely coming back!
