Hernan went above and beyond to accommodate us after a delayed ferry due to poor weather! He was very responsive and sent us information prior to arrival and during the stay! Extremely family friendly! He even brought us fresh laid eggs! Highly recommend and will return!

Set in Puerto Varas, Los Lagos region, Hostel Casa Apel is situated a 19-minute walk from El Paseo Pier. Among the various facilities of this property are a garden, a terrace and a shared lounge. The common area is great with lots of space to relax. Our private room was very spacious, with a comfortable bed and a sink!

I loved everything about this Hostal...The location was perfect-across the street from the bus station....My room was large and clean and sleep quality was excellent...In this Hostal guests have the use of the kitchen where coffee,tea and hot water are always available...The staff really made my stay enjoyable.I want to mention Richard who was very helpful to me,even telephoning the next place I was going to in order to confirm my reservation....I want to mention Ricardo at the reception desk also....Ricardo,from Italy 🇮🇹, was also friendly and helpful...This is a lovely place to stay...Top marks...10 out of 10
