Really helpful manager picked us up from the airport , helped us plan our trip up the mountain for the following day with maps and then after good breakfast drove us to the ticket office for the bus to the cable car station. Our stay at this guesthouse was absolutely perfect and exceeded all our expectations. Our host was simply wonderful and went above and beyond to make our trip to Huangshan memorable. She cooked us delicious and hearty breakfasts every morning, provided us with rides to the mountain entrance, and even drove us to local restaurants for dinner. Her recommendations for the best local places to eat and buy authentic Huangshan tea were invaluable. The accommodation itself was fantastic. We had a very comfortable, large bed and a stunning panoramic view of the mountains from our window. A real highlight was the private jacuzzi in the room – perfect for relaxing after a day of hiking. The guesthouse also has a lovely, friendly cat that was a delight to come home to. The location is peaceful and about a 20-minute walk from the city center, where you can find numerous restaurants and shops. We would recommend this place 10/10 without any hesitation. The only very minor downside was that the room was a little chilly at times, but it was a small price to pay for such an otherwise flawless experience. We can't wait to return!

I liked the friendlyness of the host and his eagerness to help. Also, he spoke English so communication was no problem. The interior of the apartment is really nice and traditional. In less than 10 minutes slow walking I was able to get to the Ancient town. PS: the ticket to the ancient town is valid for 3 days

Situated along the historic Tunxi Ancient Street, Huangshan Old Street Courtyard is an old house of bricks and wood, a tranquil getaway from the hustle and bustle of cities. This hotel location can't be beat!!! You're staying in the heart of the old street with heaps of amazing shops and food options. The property itself is authentic and hundreds of years old... so don't expect luxuary, but rather a wonderful life experience. We loved it! We had to use a translation app with the staff, but they were very responsive and helpful!

Amazing location in Old Street area hard to find so call ahead or take the offer of collection. Wang is an amazing host take up the offer of private car to all the sites for the day cost 350 Yuan. Remember the electric blankets in winter months.
