A recently renovated homestay situated in Fenghuang, Fenghuang Ancient Town Lazy Cat Riverside Inn features a terrace. With mountain views, this accommodation offers a balcony. The homestay features rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. The location is great and the room has everything you need, + a beautiful view! The staff is warm, welcoming, extremely kind and always helpful. We loved our stay here and would recommend it to anybody! 10/10

At the homestay, the units come with bed linen and towels. This hotel was perfect for me and my daughter’s stay in Fenghuang. First of all, it’s stunning. The building, decorations, and surrounding areas were beautiful and staying in this small hotel made our visit in Fenghuang feel more significant and of value. This is not an outdated hotel, each part of our room felt brand new though kept in a remarkably preserved old building. The owner and staff are phenomenal! They’re very kind, enjoyable, and pleasant people. When we asked if they could help us warm up some leftovers we had brought, they also prepared us additional dishes to go with it. Throughout our stay the food was exceptional, always authentic Chinese food, and made from scratch by them. Just during our 2 night stay we feasted on dumplings, pastries, noodles, goose, chicken, fresh fruit, and a few other things. After checking out, our host helped us get to where our driver would meet us and stayed with us ensuring our safety. They even provided us with thoughtful gifts upon checking out. Through their behavior towards us and what they’ve created with their hotel, they shared the best of their culture and of humanity, which was what we hoped to encounter.

I liked everything, especially our dear Cherry, who speaks very well english and helped us a lot with everything we need, also taking tickets at good price for National Park and others,explaining what to do there. The location is few minutes walking from the entrance of Wulingyuan Scenic Area. Lot of tasty and cheap food near hotel. Room clean, very nice, everyday change towels, give you free water, also coffee if you want. I am so happy i choose this one, and met her and her family. They are devotated and help you with all you need.Also help us book train tickets. Learn us how to come and go by bus, to be cheaper. It is 2 minutes from bus station. The area very nice to walk and enjoy. If i could, i would give more than 10.

Do not attempt to the place on your own as we did :) The owner offers to wait for you at the bus stop/taxi stop and accompany you to the hotel, which is only a couple of minutes away.

They went above and beyond to make sure I had a great stay. From reaching out ahead of arrival to help plan activities, to (free!!) pickup at the station, to taking care of me when I spent too long in the sun. The rooms are incredible, the beds are so comfortable, the views are spectacular, and the breakfast is world class!
