Totally amazing place to stay! Highly recommended. First of all, it is only 7 mins walk from the ancient city of pangyao. It is also so nearby the railway station. You can go by DIDI or bus, both are so convenient. Second, the decor of the place is AMAZING! I couldn’t help take pictures and video when i first came it. They even have a swing and glass-fish! The staff are so friendly and nice people. The Owner gave me water when i first came and when i left. Whenever i ask for anything she always helps. They have bar and food there with nice prices. I didn’t eat there but saw the food, it looked so delicious. The rooms were also amazing, it is two levels bed and mine was the one above. Surprisingly, it was so comfortable too. When i move it doesn’t vibrate into the bottom bed. The toilet is clean and they have shower gel, hair shampoo, small towel, and toothbrush with toothpaste ready for you to use. The air conditioner works fine and the wi-fi is connected from my room.

Our stay in Pingyao was absolutely unforgettable! The hotel is incredibly beautiful and authentic, with every detail carefully thought out and full of charm. The room itself was stunning, combining traditional atmosphere with great comfort – and the beds were fantastic! The value for the experience we had was truly amazing. Breakfast was delicious, and the staff were so kind, warm, and helpful, making us feel very welcome from the very first moment.

Pingyao Ji Family Courtyard Inn ligger i Pingyao, 2 minutters gang fra Qingxu Guan og 300 m fra North First Escort, og har en have. Overnatningsstedet ligger ca. The best hotel I have ever stayed in. Amazing location, right in the center of ancient town of Pingyao but still very quiet. The room is very beautiful, clean and there is all you need for a comfortable stay. Ji is amazing. I highly recommend a short or longer stay at the Ji Family Courtyard Inn.

Pingyao Moonlight Guesthouse ligger i Pingyao, 8 minutters gang fra Ji's Old Residence, og har en have samt gratis wi-fi overalt. Der er desuden røgfrie værelser. Our stay was perfect. The owner and his daughter did everything to make us feel at home. The place was really beautiful, our room was cozy and warm. They cooked us breakfast even if we had to leave early in the morning. They were so kind to take us to the train station. If you come to Pingyao this is the perfect place to stay!

五福居 Five Blessings Hotel ligger 1,4 km fra centrum af Datong, mindre end 1 km fra Nine Dragon Screen, og tilbyder indkvartering med aircondition, gårdhave, gratis cykler og en have. Oh my goodness! This was a treat :) it is in the old city walls where there is tons of shopping, eating and sightseeing. We were also easily able to book a tour that picked us up at the hotel for the big sites light the pagoda, hanging temple and grottos. We wanted an English guide so booked through another source, but the hotel would also arrange for a taxi service if you wanted. The city wall is just across the street and you can ride bikes up there and during the evening there are shops and bright decorations. The 9 dragging screen with the glasses tiles is also a short walk. Museums, pagodas, temples, quaint streets and busy markets are all within walking distance. It is a bit away from the new city center and the south railway station (where all high speed trains come in) … BUT they arrange for free transportation to and from the hotel. It was apparent at every step of the way that those working were eager to please and wanted the stay to be perfect. They upgraded our room free of charge when they saw we had two kids and only 1 bed. The larger room was available so they have it to us to make the nights more comfortable. They also provide a free breakfast each morning and the food was outstanding. They made it to order and over fed us each day. Laundry machine and detergent is available for use. The facilities are very newly updated and clean. We wished we could have stayed for longer.

Pingyao Baichanghong Inn ligger i Pingyao Ancient City-distriktet i Pingyao og har værelser med aircondition, kabel-fladskærms-tv. I really appreciated the hotel’s location – it was perfect for what I needed. The room was clean, and the manager was very professional. It was a good experience!

Datong Yunzhong Traditional Courtyard ligger i Datongs gamle bydel, 5 minutters gang fra Huayan-templet og Nine Dragon Wall. Det er en kro for 4 personer med traditionel indretning. Like living in ancient times, but with modern facilities. Lovely architecture and very thoughtful interior design. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Ideal location. Nice touch of providing fruits and snacks in the room and unique takeaway items.

Offering Chinese and Western food on site, Pingyao Harmony Hotel features well-decorated guestrooms and simple dormitory rooms for guests. Service was great. We were picked up at the parking lot with a shuttle bus. Dinner in the hotel was perfect and delicious. They even offered gluten free food! The owner family were very friendly and supported us in any situation. We strongly recommend this hotel as it is a pleasure to stay there. We surely will come back, when we are around this area again.
