The family that runs the hostel is so friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is really good and includes freshly made fruit juice. WiFi is strong. The balcony is a good place to work. Location is outstanding. A very short walk to many restaurants yet a bit away from the louder parts of Laureles. Fruit sellers often pass and there is a mercadito a couple of doors away. The other guests were friendly and we communed in the common area. I cannot say enough good things about Laureles Garden Hostel. I will surely return.

Everything is super clean all the time and the kitchen is very well equipped. There is a small interior courtyard which is also the dining room so its easy to meet people because everyone is in the same place.

If you fancy a good night's sleep, it's quiet at night, a luxury in Medellin. The shower had plenty of hot water.

Refugio en el Bosque se găsește în Medellín, la 29 km de Parcul El Poblado, și are o grădină, o terasă, un bar și parcare privată gratuită. Excellent place! In the middle of the nature. Many animals/birds coming in the morning. The owner is a very good chef/cook and makes delicious breakfast/dinner. The refugio is very close to the mirador/viewpoint (just 5min walking). Great place to calm down, have some great peaceful time in the nature
