Después de semanas de trabajo en la oficina, compré pasajes a Costa Rica para relajarme en el Caribe, en Puerto Viejo. Elegí Smile Jungle Hostel y fue una experiencia maravillosa. Un sitio auténtico, rodeado de naturaleza, con un ambiente muy especial. El personal es amable, los desayunos deliciosos y el dueño, Gonzalo, es increíble: te ayuda incluso antes de tu llegada y te da toda la información que necesitas para disfrutar al máximo del país. Está muy bien ubicado, cerca del supermercado, restaurantes y lugares para alquilar bicicletas o motos. Además, la hermosa playa Cocles está a pocos minutos. Una experiencia difícil de expresar con palabras. ¡Mil gracias, Gonzalo!

The accommodation is in a very quiet and pleasant area, but still close to everything. It’s easy to reach, and the ocean is just a short walk away. The room was very clean and well-equipped with everything I needed. The host was extremely kind and helpful throughout my stay. I would definitely stay here again!

Casa muy limpia, completa para cocinar, cama cómoda con un estar en galería muy agradable y cómodo. Baño amplio y bonito. El jacuzzi es otro plus. Los anfitriones muy amables.

This is a lovely place with a private deck on the ocean. It is coral, so not a beach for swimming - but Playa Negra is a beautiful black sand beach a mere 10 minute walk away - excellent for swimming. We had the air conditioned rooms with floor to ceiling windows looking out at the jungle and ocean as well as a lovely swimming pool. The back courtyard not only a few steps from the ocean, but also full of hammocks and wildlife, daily visits from howler monkeys and tons of birds. A beautiful place to relax. The breakfast was delightful, the staff friendly and helpful. Very clean and very close to everything in town. Many delicious restaurants within 5 minutes walk. The national park, hiking and snorkeling all within a few minutes walk. We LOVED this place and can't wait to go back.

We loved our stay here, and we felt like at home. The staff is always here looking to help you and make your stay memorable, they were so generous, humble and friendly ! Near to the bus station, the natural park and a lot of coffee, restaurants. The room was clean, the kitchen well-equipped and spacious, and the common areas were cozy and comfortable. We appreciated also the company of the 2 doggies and each details (free coffee in the morning, lovely cleaning lady every day, access to the pool and some board game and books available)

Pachamama Nueva River side Bungalows Punta Uva está en Puerto Viejo, a 3 min a pie de Playa de Punta Uva, y dispone de alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, terraza y zona de barbacoa. This property is gorgeous and the staff is excellent and accommodating. The bungalow was well supplied, and just a perfect place to enjoy nature and to chill out. We kayaked to the ocean and watched sloths in the trees. I would highly recommend this property.

H et L está a 3 min a pie de Playa de Tortuguero y ofrece alojamiento con restaurante, jardín, terraza y bar. Hay wifi gratis en todo el alojamiento. The owner helped us with booking a night tour to see turtles laying eggs and a morning canoe trip. Initially, there was an issue with the room as there was no kitchenette for our family of 4. After a short conversation, the owner offered us an additional smaller room, which had a kitchenette along with the original room, and all was settled. Huge TVs in the rooms with a variety of streaming services.
