It was one of the nicest places I have ever stayed in and I have stayed in at least 40 places. The location was great. The place was decorated and constructed super cute. The bedroom was huge with 3 comfortable beds and a private bath. The kitchen was to be shared with the other two rooms but no one else used it but us. Even had a little courtyard garden with roses blooming outside our bedroom. The host was very nice, spoke English, and very helpful.

A great location for visiting Otavalo, which outside of the famed market, was rather drab. Some reviewers have complained that the steep hill was difficult to drive up, but my driver made it up with an old car.

They prepared us dinner one night which was great! The house is super cute and clean, love the view to the lake. The town is safe to walk I'm at night. Make sure to go to Bambu Grill. Great place to eat.

Perfect place if you want to hike up to Mount Imbabura! The host Emerson is great & can give you a lot of advice on climbing the mountain. He also arranged a truck to take me to the trailhead in the early morning so I wouldn’t have to waste my energy before the actual hike starts. There is also a little restaurant and the food is excellent and not too expensive!

The daughter prepares a delicious breakfast, and the son brought us hot water bottles in the evening. Patricio even drove us to the nearest bus station to Quito. Muy recomendable!
