The place is very quiet, located on the top of a mountain with great views of the Andes; not to mention the company of Rocky (the hostel's llama). Victor Negret, the manager and owner, was so helpful and nice, prepared me delicious and well-served breakfast and dinner with so much care and love. I ended up extending my stay because it was very pleasant. A great plus of Starlight Inn is that you have coffee\tea available at all times and also bikes included in the price. It's just so much value for the money. Thank you for your hospitality, Victor, I'll definitely recommend your place to anyone I know and hope to come back soon.

The incredibly warm welcome of smiles and beautiful hospitality, along with a happy dog and cat, it felt like we were stepping into a home. It was the best and calmest place with A variety of teas, boiling water, drinking water, coffee, homemade cookies and banana bread upon arrival with the fire lit for us to get all cosy after our walk along the trail. Super friendly vibes, community dinner was exceptional and the vegan option was the best I’ve had in Ecuador. The views over the valley are beautiful and clear sky’s meant for tea under the stars in the evening :)

Located in Riobamba, 14 km from San Andrés, Casa de Mármol provides a shared lounge and free WiFi. Our priority was to feel safe when we went out during the day and in the evening in Riobamba which we found at Casa de Marmol. Irma the hostess speaks English. Hearty breakfast, hot water, very clean room with beautiful furniture, sheets are so soft that we asked Irma where she got the sheets. . If you want to have your dinner at Casa de Marmol, Irma will order what you want to eat and you can use her dining room. If you are looking for a place in Riobamba that will offer you security hearty lunch and cozy bed, you will not find better than the Casa de Marmol.
