One of the highlights was the amazing food—fresh, organic Egyptian dishes lovingly prepared by Mohamed. Every meal was a treat! The rooftop view was absolutely stunning—you could see the Valley of the Kings and watch the hot air balloons rising in the early morning. A truly magical experience. We also want to thank Arafat, who provided exceptional taxi service. He made us feel safe and cared for everywhere we went—more than just a driver, he was a true host. The neighborhood experience was another unforgettable part of our stay. We had the chance to spend time with local families on their farms. The kids especially loved riding donkeys and horses, feeding goats, and getting a glimpse into rural Egyptian life. This stay was warm, authentic, and full of heart. Highly recommended!

I had a very enjoyable stay at Peace garden hostel. Amar is the best host ever and one of the very few kind people I’ve met in Egypt. I felt so safe and comfortable at his place. As a solo traveller, this means a lot to be safe and worries free. All the staff at the hotel are very nice and friendly and made me feel welcoming all the time. Amar even drove me to the downtown by his car for exchanging money, buying train tickets and helped me book the tours at good price. Oh and the meals at the hotel are incredible. Breakfast and dinner are included in the price of accomodation and they served the best food ever, homemade meals in restaurant style. It tasted much better than the restaurant I had in town and meals were changed everyday. The hotel is extremely clean. It’s the most cleanest accommodation I’ve been to. I had to say I saw them clean the floor every 20mins. Very well organized and beautifully decorated with lots of vintage stuff. It’s a peaceful place indeed! The room & bed is also comfortable, I had a very good sleep. Highly highly recommended!!! Thank you very much Amar and the team ❤️ I’ll be back one day.

Beautiful mansion with a peaceful oasis of a courtyard. Upon arrival, we were offered a nice cup of cold hibiscus tea. The hotel is Very close to the Nile, and many convenient boats were right there to take us straight across to the luxor temple just on the other side. There was also a lovely restaurant with a terrasse on the nile just a two minute walk feom the hotel. We enjoyed the Villàs Charming decor inside and out, as well as the Nice pool. The air conditionning worked fine for a 30’C+ day, but if it had been 40’C, we would probably have been hot in the room. After check out, the kind team enabled us to stay and enjoy the pool and courtyard. Throughout our stay, we kept thinking and saying to each other, this place is so beautiful and feels quite Egyptian. We feel very lucky to have stayed there. The surroundings were calmer and more peaceful than on the east bank.

If you stay make sure you have dinner there since the food she cooks is just stunning. The hotel is great, with beautiful traditional architecture and bedrooms are big and really nice. There's also a pool and a garden. There's no better place to sleep in Luxor !

The owner, Hagag, is a very friendly and helpful man with a lovely family. Everything was clean, the breakfast was delicious, and the Wi-Fi worked perfectly. 10/10 – thank you so much for your warm hospitality!

We spent 3 nights here during our 1 week tour of Egypt and everything was fantastic. We were met at Luxor airport (after us arriving over an hour late) by smiling and friendly Said for our short transfer to the hotel. On arrival our wonderful host Karim together with Mohammed were waiting to warmly welcome us. The property, in reality, is even more beautiful than the photographs. It's newly built and immaculate, the pool and dining area are lovely and the gardens are beautiful. It's located in a very tranquil setting surrounded by fields yet only a 10 minute walk to the banks of the Nile. Our room was light and spacious with a lovely view. The bed was extremely comfortable with beautiful bedding and the bathroom was lovely. Karim was the perfect host - nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was varied and delicious, we also had dinner every night of our stay, and wow - what fabulous food!! Everything was homemade either by Karim or his family, it was so nice to have authentic Egyptian food and the quantities were vast! We booked 2 day tours with Karim as our guide. He is an extremely knowledgeable qualified Egyptologist and tailor made the trips for us which were fabulous. He also organised a car to take us the 4hr drive to Aswan for the next stage of our trip. We cannot thank Karim and his family enough for making our time in Luxor so memorable, we very much hope to return one day.
