The room was modern and comfortable, even though the surroundings are quite rural. The house features a great rooftop with a lovely atmosphere, and the owner is absolutely fantastic! JJ went the extra mile to make our stay wonderful - always friendly, helpful and attentive. He also offers affordable Nile trips and transfers to Abu Simbel, which we highly recommend. The accommodation is conveniently located near the public ferry, which runs frequently and costs only 10 EGP per person. JJ welcomes you with tasty lemon-mint drink and offers the tea when he sees you :)

He arranged our pick up from the airport and boat to the guest house. He arranged our felucca sunset sail. We loved our stay on Eliphintine island, it was very quiet and very easy to cross with the local ferry.

We stayed at Nuba Heart as a family with two children and had an amazing experience. The accommodation was spacious and quiet, with two large bedrooms. It's ideally located—just a short walk from the ferry (only 10 EGP per person), and close to the train station and the local bazaar. From the moment we arrived, everything was smooth. A taxi was waiting for us at the airport, and Thameer organized all our tours and even our transfer to our next accommodation in Luxor, all at very good prices. He was always available and ready to help with anything we needed. We enjoyed delicious breakfast and lovely rooftop dinners with a great view. The Nubian village around the guesthouse is full of charm and becomes very lively at night. The locals are warm and welcoming, and the whole atmosphere made us feel right at home. Highly recommended, especially for families looking for an authentic experience and excellent hospitality. Our children loved it.

They want you to feel at home - and for me it was a home for a week. The room is comfortable and clean, nicely decorated and has lots of hangers. Abu offers a welcoming fruit drink, free boat transfer, sunset trip and much more. He makes delicious fish tajin for dinner. Breakfast is very tasty and nutritious too. I'd stay there again. Highly recommended!

If you are planning a trip to Aswan, Elephantine Island on the Nile , La Terrace Aswan is the guest house you NEED to stay at. The house is so lovely and spotlessly clean. The view of Aswan Corniche from the wonderful terrace are fabulous day and night. Now on to Mohammed, the proprietor. The nicest, kindest, most genuine man you’ll meet. He looked after us like we were family. We flew into Aswan from Cairo but when we arrived in Cairo our luggage wasn’t. We messaged Mohammed just to let him know what happened and even though at this stage we still hadn’t met he took ownership of the issue and just ran with it. He had a car meet us at the airport which took us straight to a pharmacy to buy toiletries before taking us to the guest house. The following morning after making sure we had some breakfast he guided us to a shopping centre where we could purchase replacement clothing. In addition to all this Mohammed looked after all our bookings for tours and trips. He well and truly saved our holiday. The beds in the room were so comfortable and it was so quiet and peaceful. This location is exceptional. The island offers a tranquil escape from the sometimes overwhelming atmosphere found in Aswan. The Nubian people are notably peaceful, respectful, and welcoming, creating a delightful atmosphere. The property is outstanding, offering convenient port transfers upon arrival and departure. The hotel boasts breathtaking views. The breakfast is superb, and the staff are exceptionally pleasant and accommodating. Furthermore, the rooms are impeccably clean. We are extremely pleased with our decision to extend our stay here after our Nile cruise. Missing this unique Nubian experience would have been a significant regret.
