Surrounded by mountains, Hotel Rural Casa Xusto is located in the small town of La Caridad. This 19th-century house features wooden floors and stone walls, and offers views of the garden. The place, located close to the ‘via del norte’ path, is very quiet and surrounded by nature; rooms are cozy and with a lot of space, and Pepe is a super kind and friendly host! Very recommended especially if you’re looking for a quiet place to rest during the camino!

Casa Arenas was so charming and peaceful, located in a picturesque small town in the mountains. The breakfast we ordered was delicious and filling. The owner very welcoming and kind. As we were leaving, we misjudged the angle of the road and were stuck on a low stone wall, he and several neighbours came to tow us and get the car back on safe footing right away. Very grateful for the kindness they extended to us in that moment! Highly recommend staying here.

Nice bathroom with good pressure of hot water in the shower. Good quality shampoo and shower gel. Shared kitchen has everything you might need to cook. We could wash and dry our clothes for a little extra charge. There was an absolutely adorable cat in the house (though it belongs to a hostess's friend). My husband said that every house must have a cat like that :-) Good location if you want to travel around. Secure parking within the premises. Overall, it was a good break from staying in hotels. It must be lovely in warm weather for there are chairs and table outside.
