The Goya offers comfortable accommodation with contemporary décor and wooden floors. Each room has air conditioning and heating. Some rooms also have a balcony. it was as central as it could get. Just by Placa Catalunya but still a street behind it so one does not hear the trafic as much. The building and the staircase seemed old at first site but once getting inside the hostel it is renovated and the actual rooms and inside it was very fresh, clean and really nice. You get a muffin and a coffee,/tea which is nice. It had a nice seating area where one can have breakfast. Not an actual kitchen but still enough for a few days. It was clean and even had a small balcony if you are a smoker. The staff is so kind and friendly and we only stayed one night but we could have stayed longer. Nice place for couples or friends who are there a few days.

The rooms are decorated with antique-style furniture. Many have original stone walls, and all have heating. Everything was excellent, the hostess welcomed us and showed us around the premises. The breakfast was delicious, and the courtyards were beautiful, green and with the sound of water. We're coming back!
