Most welcoming and friendly family and very authentic village! Really good food and a lot, they even cooked vegetarian for me! Nice activities, it never gets boring. The beach is beautiful too. Extra info because it’s one of the first reviews: We got picked up from the ferry by boat (extra cost), very good food provided for 50FJD/day per person, bathroom simple with bucket toilet and shower in a little shelter next door, no supermarket in the village so bring what you need (mosquito repellent and sun screen!). Solar panels provide power through the day and lights, but no fan (was not too hot for us). Covering clothes and no hats/sunglasses while walking the village, beach is fine :) Bringing a gift to the chief of the village is also part of etiquette.

This was my most enjoyable and relaxing stay of my yasawa trip. So many positives. The place its self is separate from the families quarters so you feel like you have real privacy. The family are all lovely and non intrusive. The kids are the cutest things ever. The bed is of quality hotel standards with a priceless mosquito net. Finally the food was excellent and abundant, every time catering for my pescatarian needs. Was very sad to leave.

This homestay afforded me with a real Fijian homestay experience and island experience. This is not a luxurious resort but real Fiji. The host was incredibly friendly and helpful and did his best to ensure I had a pleasant and delightful stay. Their cooking is authentically local Fijian. I had dinner with the host family and it offered a real cultural exchange experience. The island, Nanuya Lailai, is small and easy to walk around. The other side of the island has a beautiful and picturesque beach, perfect for a morning or sunset swim in calm waters. I really enjoyed that. All in all a real Fijian experience and the highlight of my holiday in Fiji. In hindsight, I would have preferred to spend more time here and visit fewer other islands.

Latui Loft is a beautiful piece of paradise, surrounded by nature and offering a great view, along with all the amenities you need to enjoy a peaceful and relaxing time. The loft is located up the hill, so you'll avoid traffic and other tourists. You just need to climb a bit, but that's great cardio exercise after your meal at one of the many restaurants Savusavu town has to offer. Candida and Grant are exceptional hosts—always eager to assist and happy to answer any questions. Their patience and hospitality made our stay even more enjoyable. Thank you!

The most amazing tropical island you can think off, welcoming family (Emily, Seru and team were amazing!), nice bonfires, and always kind guests to chat with! We had an amazing time ar Wai Makare! Just be mindful, if you want a luxurious resort with constant internet and electricity and warm water for your shower, this might not be the place for you. However, if you want to enjoy the real Fiji, its Beauty and its kind people… this is the place for you!

Friendly, nice and deep people if you are looking for a truely local experience that's just the right place ! The facilities are good, the food they make is really good too, the beach on this island is amazing (coral in front of the resort, blue lagoon beach not far). Also the price is really good value too, I have spend more than 1 month in the Fidgis island and this homestay was far away the best experience I neither either ad they're !

Our host Elia was just a really friendly man. He gives us a good and safe feeling. The food was amazing and the people in the village a friendly. Our house was clean, toilet and badroom was clean and good aswel!

Jolame and Marie are very kind people, caring for everyone and very welcoming to their house. We had the best stay, luckily for us we had two nights without other visitors and had plenty of time to engage with Maria, talk about life on the island and enjoy quiet place. It's located at the end of the village, tucked away from the resort, yet it's a short walk to the main beach, and you can grab a drink at the Wayalailai resort. Jolame organised all activities for us, no problem. We recommend doing the hike with a guide, not just for safety (I am sure we could do the walk by ourselves if somebody pointed us the right direction) but also for a good talk about the village and the place. Apex was a great guide and very fun to spend time with. Sweet Marie did her best to accommodate my dietary requirements, and her food was magic, thank you!
