Lovely friendly helpful host. Chambery is definitely worth a visit. Lots to see in the old town only 30 minute walk.

He did more than we expected that our stay would be pleasant. You get a terrace in a yard just for you as well as a room on a second floor and a personal bathroom on a first house floor. There is also a toilette in a room, but shower is only in the bathroom on the first floor. We had breakfast in the terrace. Also, next to this place there is a river so the sound of running water and birds singing will definitely relax you. If you forget to buy beer or soft drinks for the evening, the owner can help you solve this issue. We came by motorbike and we got a place in a shelter to keep it. By the way the real place owner is a cat named Felix. He keeps the order.

Philippe, the host, is charming and very accommodating. We are cyclists and Chalet Les Myrtilles is quite a climb up from Albertville. Philippe not only recommended a great restaurant but made a reservation and drove us there! Breakfast was great.

The room is very private with a balcony to sit and enjoy the mountain view in the morning and evenings. Everything in the room is modern. It is also part of a very nice restaurant. I enjoyed dinner here. It's a must try. Parking is free and plenty. 20 minutes slow walk down hill into town which was also a treat.

Very comfortable and quiet stay in a lovely home. Our host couldn't have been nicer, agreeing to cook us dinner so we didn't have to go in search of food. Lucky us! She is a good cook, used to own a restaurant, and is a fun, entertaining dinner companion. Breakfast was also delicious! We had a perfect time!
