We had an amazing time at Porto Kale. Staying here was a fantastic decision, with all the key attractions—such as the lighthouse, Marmari Beach, and Vathi—just a 10-minute drive away. Right in front of the hotel is Porto Kagio Beach, where a few charming tavernas serve delicious food. What we loved most about our stay was: - Enjoying breakfast under an old eucalyptus tree on the castle top, featuring some of the best stragisto yogurt, natural local honey, and bread. - The boat tour offered by Dimitris, the hotel owner (he left us on a beach that can be accessed only by the sea). - The exceptional attention provided for our little dog. This family-owned hotel is incredibly warm and welcoming. Highly recommended!

I was a woman traveling alone and I felt very safe. I was skeptical about renting a room due to bad experiences in the past, but I was convinced by the price and the fact that the homeowner was a woman. I really appreciated that right after booking, I received a message clarifying that it was just a room and not the whole house, and that I could cancel the reservation for free. At that moment, I felt I was dealing with honest and kind people. Another plus was that I could communicate fluently in English. The host was incredibly friendly and very helpful. She didn’t interfere with guests' lives and was almost invisible. The house had its own charm, and the views around were wonderful. A shop and restaurant are very close to the house. The place is clean, well-kept, and you can really feel the Greek atmosphere – time seems to pass slowly there. I found exactly what I needed, and I will definitely come back.
