Most people pass through Jepara on their way to the Karimunjawa. We stayed here for 4 days and had a great time. Thanks to Peter to set us up with motorcycles, snorkeling gear, taking us on a hike and generally being a welcoming host.

The highlight is the host Jawe. Always smiling. Laid back. If you need anything - organizing snorkling, washing clothes, renting a scooter, finding great food spots, beaches... he's the right guy to ask. He even can find a place to fix your broken sandal :D Jawe is also proactive - he pinged me and helped me navigate the tricky schedule of boats when I was struggling to figure out if there is a boat on Thursday. He reached out, found out the details. When I wasn't able to book via app he has sent my way to use due to some app limitations, he found the guy in Japara to take care of it. On top of all he's a nice guy and a Master Chef cook! :P

The room is beautiful and you are literally right in the middle of the rice fields. Amazing views, can even see the top of Borobudur from the dining area. They offer free bikes, which we used to explore the area and regret not using them to go to Borobudur, would have been perfect!

The villa was super clean, breakfast was very good, the property looks beautiful and the staff was amazing. Asty & Fayra were the best hosts ever, so friendly and helpful! The stargazing tour was super interesting and we learned so much. It was very special to look at the moon and the stars, thanks again Fayra (sorry if misspelled..) Highly reccomend this place to anyone looking to stay on Karimunjawa.

We really enjoyed our stay, and Rifad was a great host - friendly and easy to talk to, knowledgeable about the attractions and helpful (he even arranged some printing work for us). The location was great for exploring Solo, central, yet quiet and safe. The room was spacious and clean, as was the bathroom, and there was space outside to sit and relax in a little garden. The delicious local breakfast and free coffee was a nice addition. We'll definitely choose Rifad's place for our next stay in Solo.

Janur Bungalow offers an accommodation in Borobudur, set in a village surrounded by rice fields. It boasts an outdoor pool with overflow circulation system. Bobby the owner is a beauty. He really goes above and beyond for you. He hasn't overwhelmed him self for extra money and focuses his attention on his select few guests. It's a great recipe. The property is gorgeous for being so small and it's perfect place to chill out

At first sight, we loved the lodge and its authentic architecture. It is surrounded by rice fields and astonishing views of volcanoes on both sides of the narrow road, Borobudur is also visible. Right from the room you could observe sunrise scenery. It is an absolutely amazing place in terms of location, tranquility and picturesque views. The service and hospitality of the staff is remarkable. When we arrived at the Rumah Dharma, we were treated and welcomed very warmly. Thanks to Salamat, he shared with us information and supported us with some arrangements and provided valuable hints. He and his colleagues did their job great. Breakfast was nice each time and delicious and different (sweets and fruits, the main course you may choose one out of three options) each day. They also offer dinner which is really good. They provide bicycles for guests and could arrange a rental bike, which we rented for 3 days. Everything is very well maintained, clean and developed for you to relax and feel like at an Indonesian home. They provide postcards (it was one of few places where we saw postcards), magnets. The pool is nice and clean, it comes along with an outdoor shower. We stayed here for 4-5 days and it was an amazing experience. Lots of places of interest nearby. So, the place Rumah Dharma is unique and reality exceeds your expectations. We are honored and happy to be your guests. I highly recommend this place to everyone.
