The staff ( Marcella) was very helpful during the checking process and also helped with the tour arrangements. The place is as shown in the pictures. The room was small but very clean and maintained well. The restaurant that was nearby was also good. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would recommend it to all my friends.

I had a wonderful stay at this charming family-run hotel. The hospitality was warm and personal, and the home-cooked meals, especially dinner, were absolutely delicious. Rani went above and beyond to help us secure a last minute jeep booking to visit Mt Bromo, which we really appreciated. The location was perfect—quiet, cool, and peaceful, making it a great escape from the city. Plus, the hotel is equipped with Starlink WiFi, which was fast and reliable enough for me to get some work done during the trip. Highly recommended!

Mountain Ecolodge se află în Gubukklakah, la aproximativ 23 km de Velodrome Malang și la 24 km de Bentoel Museum. A great location in the midst of nature, detached from others. Great view from the room and from the terrace, fresh air. Located between Malang and Bromo, so it is very convenient to go from the ecolodge to the Bromo tour. Scooters can be only rented on Malang, better to take minumun 120cc if you want to travel around, for example, to Sewu waterfall. Gojek works, but in the evening there maybe problems to get one, get a car in advance or ask the owner. The owners btw are very very cool and helpful! Thank you for helping us out!!!! Prepare warm clothes and socks.

The owner is absolutely the best, he caned to pick us up at the train station, he arranged for us a motorbike to drive up to Mount Bromo and he left us leave our bags with him free of charge. He took care of giving us all the good indications on how to ge to Malang by bus and he was always available via WhatsApp if we needed anything. Can’t do better in the area

They organised transport to pick us up promptly at the fast ferry and drove us all the way to the Turtle Lodge. We had activities they planned each day such as seeing a waterfall at Green Bay Beach. The turtle overnight watch we signed up for was incredible located inside the national park. My son loved releasing tiny turtles to the sea and we saw how the Green Sea turtles nested.

We love how the staff treated us, especially the owner, Annie. She was responsive to all our questions. We were very lucky that Kawah Ijen reopened the day of our stay and I first heard the confirmation from Annie. The location is already near from the port so if you will be going to Bali after staying at Bayuwanggi this is a good option. The hostel also arranged the Ijen tour for us. We will surely stay here again if ever we comeback.

The place was near the train station ( via gojek but walking will take 20 mins walk according to google) The place is lovely and surrounded by green plants so it feels more relax and refreshing. The owner was accommodating and ensured we were settled well and also informed us things around banyuwangi. We booked the tour with him (375k) and we were satisfied with the tour and the bike rental was cheap too compare to renting outside (no need to leave the passport as collateral) We loved our room and we have balcony. Though the room needs a little improvement like better lighting and the bathroom. (Note that the bathroom is super spacious which we loved also) In general this accommodation is way better than what we have in other places in Indonesia. Wifi is faster🫰🏾🫰🏾♥️

We could not have had a lovelier time at Banana homestay. The owners were so welcoming and attentive, the room was comfortable, everything was very clean and the free breakfast was delicious! Perfect spot for the Mt Ijen tour and other sights.
