I was even able to check in in the morning, which I really appreciated. Annas took care of me throughout my stay and he was really helpful and friendly. He speaks excellent English, so I was able to ask him about interesting things to see in Malang and Indonesia in general. I definitely recommend this accommodation😊

I truly recommend to book the night within the national park where you will have the opportunity to observe adult turtles laying eggs on the beach at night and at sunset you will release newborn turtles from previous nests. There is a great turtle conservation project in here and it is worth to contribute to it. Lastly, the host, guides and rangers truly care about this park and supporting local populations, this is a must-to-visit place!

We love how the staff treated us, especially the owner, Annie. She was responsive to all our questions. We were very lucky that Kawah Ijen reopened the day of our stay and I first heard the confirmation from Annie. The location is already near from the port so if you will be going to Bali after staying at Bayuwanggi this is a good option. The hostel also arranged the Ijen tour for us. We will surely stay here again if ever we comeback.

Everything about this stay was amazing. The hosts, Fryda and Imran, go out of their way to ensure your stay is as good as can be. When we arrived we were not feeling well (Bali belly) and Fryda raced to their local shop to buy us some fresh coconut water. On the second day, they both took the morning to drive us to a coffee plantation and a local batik painting shop and workshop. Further, Fryda helped us book our train tickets. The breakfasts were excellent and facilities and rooms were simple but clean. This is a homestay and Fryda and Imran welcome you in with open arms. Highly recommend staying here if you are after a budget friendly homestay. Thanks Fryda and Imran, hope to see you again someday.
