Surrounded by rice fields, Abian Ayu Villa offers a tranquil getaway with stunning views of Mount Agung. Guests can have a relaxing dip in the outdoor pool overlooking the rice terraces. Out of 10, this was our best accommodation on Bali, we enjoyed everything. Pool is lovely, gardens, views, awesame breakfast, and the staff is extremely friendly, in particular Paine. We also booked a good tour through the reception. And value for our money was superb. The location is perfect, surrounded by some of the best restaurants in the area, great massage options, and a money exchanger (note: no atm’s anywhere close!)

A layover in Pandagabai at this place was pleasant. The host/owner is a very nice/knowledgeable guy and treated the travelers there to dinner. For German speakers this is the place you want to visit - the host is a rare Indonesian that speaks fluently.

A very comfortable accommodation, tucked away in the peaceful green countryside and very close to historic Besakih temple. The Hidden Vally is run by an amazing family that is kind, helpful and hospitable. Highly recommended. A+

I truly loved my stay here with all my heart! Nengah my host was the best part! She was so kind, smily, prepared beautiful breakfasts. Everything was perfect. So clean, comfortable, beautiful garden, so many great little details and so well equipped. So convenient the scooter rental and help with transport arrangements. Great location too! My time in Sidemen was wonderful. I even got to meet her extended family. ☺️

This was one of the best accommodation experiences I have ever had. As a solo traveller, I have never felt more welcomed or looked after. Made and Putu are the perfect hosts and the warmest Indonesians I have met. Despite us speaking two different languages, we conversed, and laughed, and they looked after me. Putu is a phenomenal cook and I felt right at home. The room is within their property yet private and entirely self-contained. If you want alone time, you can have it. Equally, if you want to immerse yourself with the family, there is a small outdoor kitchen dining area. The room itself was uncluttered, modern and pristinely clean (and I’m picky!). The sheets and linen were fresh and the bathroom was also modern and super clean. The shower was better and more consistent in pressure and temperature than the four star resort I’ve just come from and paid triple the cost for in Ubud. Sidemen is a magical village and the Bali I always dreamed of experiencing. Made Putu is in the perfect spot, right between the village and market and the new cafes and villas. They let me borrow their scooter but it’s no more than a 15 minute walk in either direction to get to the village markets, or the newer cafes. I will be back in July….. I just wish I stayed longer! If you want to experience authentic Bali, this is exactly where you need to book. Terimakasih! ❤️❤️

The rooms were huge and clean and the shower was great too. The breakfast was diversed and well made. They also do bike rentals there.
