Komang and his family were excellent hosts and made us feel very at home.The morning breakfasts were the best we've had on our travels. The house itself is beautiful with great mood lighting and stone bathroom. Bed was very comfortable and I'll be trying to find those sheets for my own house as they were so good!

For German speakers this is the place you want to visit - the host is a rare Indonesian that speaks fluently.

Honestly one of our best stays in 2 months travelling. It was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The garden is beautiful. The owners are a local married couple, the wife welcomed us with a beautiful smile, was always laughing, giving us good vibe. The husband helped us to get transfer from the harbour, gave us a tour, helped in any of our issues. The breakfast was delicious. It was the best choice to book this place. We loved Sidemen as well, we were sad to leave.

Garden and pool beautiful and with only two bungalows a relaxed feeling place. Close to rice fields walk. Gusty made great recommendations for eating places, even drove us up to one and picked us up. Had fresh pineapple from Gusty's garden. Added treat talking with Gusty's family as we watched his sister working at her traditional weaving.

We felt welcome from the first moment and the owners made our stay memorable. Terima kasih! It is a home stay, so all food is home made. If you like, you have your own privacy / two rooms with a terrace are in a different house - but a part of a beautiful garden. If you are interested, many tips what to see around shared, you can rent a motorbike for a reasonable price and also any transfer can be offered. So it is a great help. Great location - in the centre, very nice garden to enjoy breakfast, food or just a drink. Facilities are new and clean; comfortable bed.

Exceptional stay in Amed at Permai Home Stay, which though called a homestay, is actually quite luxury especially for the price. The staff are all incredibly kind and welcoming, providing a great varied breakfast served at the the requested time on your porch, or a breakfast box for early days of diving. I also rented a decent scooter for a fair price. Would recommend to anyone traveling to Amed, and will definitely be back on my next stay.
