Beautiful homestay, which is very well maintained and run with love and attention to details. Of course it is still a basic accomodation in a remote location with limited resources. But we were very positively surprised by the comforts. Great snorkeling reef, lots of trip options. 2 rooms with AC available for a surcharge.

Nyande Raja Ampat está em frente à praia em Pulau Mansuar e tem um jardim e um terraço. Cada quarto tem varanda com vistas do mar e acesso Wi-Fi gratuito. O alojamento é simplesmente espectacular, excelente relação qualidade preço. O alojamento é muito bonito, bons quartos e excelentes casas de banho, área de refeições muito boa, estando sempre tudo muito limpo. Alimentação sempre variada e deliciosa, com frutas e legumes e com boas quantidades. Café, água, chá e fruta sempre à disposição. O recife de coral em frente ao alojamento é muito rico em vida marinha e super bonito. Todos os dias são planeadas as tours para o dia seguinte tendo em conta as preferências de snorkling ou mergulho dos hospedes. E o mais importante, os funcionários e proprietários são incríveis, super simpáticos e prestáveis. O meu muito obrigada à Esni, uma mulher fantástica, muito querida, sempre disposta a ajudar, a partilhar conhecimento e sempre com um sorriso na cara. A melhor tour guide que alguma vez podem ter, é uma manta whisperer. Especial obrigado também ao Andy por toda a simpatia e por ser um excelente anfitrião. Adorámos a nossa estadia, ficámos com desejo de voltar.

Seahorse Homestay encontra-se em Pulau Mansuar, na região de Papua Barat, e tem um terraço e vista do mar. Toalhas e roupa de cama são providenciadas neste quarto em acomodação particular. The owner is a wonderful man who always helps out wherever he can. We had some amazing game nights and day trip adventures with him. The location is perfect and we loved that there are only 2 bungalows so it's really private and quiet. The bungalow itself is simple but has all you need, same with the shared bathrooms. Also the food is amazing! All in all we had a wonderful time and would have loved to stay longer.

Paparisa homestay was amazing! Rio and his Team are taking really good care that everyone has a lovely stay and help where they can to arrange transportation or daytrips or diving. The bungalows are very clean, spacious and well equipped. We even had our own bathroom which is definitely a luxury on the island! Overall a great place to relax and enjoy the island life. The Food was also very good and there was also lots of variety, even though I am vegetarian :) Definitely one of the best places to stay in raja ampat!

Korbekwan Homestay localiza-se em Besir e providencia um terraço e um restaurante. O alojamento apresenta vistas do mar. O alojamento também providencia aos hóspedes 1 casa de banho. minha estadia em korbekwan homestay foi excepcional. a família que mora na área é incrível, receptiva e muito acolhedora. os quartos são muito confortáveis e a vista é de tirar o fôlego. a noite, pude ver os plânctons na lagoa brilhando e durante o dia pude fazer snorkling nas redondezas do homestay. existe uma bancada de coral incrível que do deck do homestay pude ver polvos, lulas, estrelas do mar e uma infinidade sem fim de peixes! essa experiência mudou a minha vida. a família não fala muito inglês mas para mim foi mais especial ainda por que eles me ensinaram muito da língua local. fui para passar meu anivesário e até bolo de aniversário com direito à parabéns teve!

Nyanse Homestay - Raja Ampat localiza-se em Besir. Toalhas e roupa de cama são providenciadas neste quarto em acomodação particular. This homestay was the best ever, I would always put it in my list when coming back to RA, it feels like we have them as friends and family there! I don’t know where to start, apart from the absolutely stunning views on the oceanfront pier and balconies, especially during sunset and sunrise, I really have to highlight the food - it was always incredible, especially the veggies just wow. The breakfast and the deserts (fruit) was usually calculated with about 2 pieces per person if there were more people staying at the homestay, but that was fine since they also have an afternoon snack every day! Me and my partner are freedivers, so we were looking for spots between 3-20 meters with the main objectives to see mantas, sharks and turtels, and the family did its best with helping us planning the trips. All of the we did with the homestay and it was great, they always brought lunch and coffee and you could really see they enjoy being in the water and with the marine life as well. We went to Manta Sandy, Tangjung Putus, and Mansuar and all of them were great, yet in Mansuar there was loads of trash in the water (like generally around Kri and north of RA during rainy time) which is really a big downer and will hopefully change at some point. After having stayed also on Kri island, I know now that Nyanse Homestay is one of the cleanest places and their housereef is usually quite clean as well. Of course the corals there are not as great as the spots you go with a boat because they are also more exposed to sun and heat, but we saw a great amount of colorful and different fish as well as a turtle and 2 water snakes (watch out they are highly poisonous but they do not attack if you leave them alone, also some other divers told me they are so small so they could only potentially bite where the skin is very thin like the ears, so all good ;) ) Now the best thing - every single one of the family is such a warm soul. They even helped me prepare a surprise for my partner’s birthday

We were lucky to find this gem!!! Husna is one of a kind. Her generosity to make things easy for us was incredible; transport, ferry tickets, recommendations of where to eat and more. Communication was seamless and the breakfast and bed were the best we have had in raja amput. Thanks Husna for your warmth, care, kindness and amazing smile! We will be back. Highly recommend Sandy guesthouse for a night on the way in or out from the islands.

Uma pequena Guest House com aplo espaço interno para o hóspede. Tem um hall de entrada (uma pequena sala), a seguir o quarto com porta e seguindo pelo corredor banheiro com pia externa em outro espaço bem razoável. A área externa é cheia de plantas com mesas e bancos para as refeições cobertas e sombradas. Tem até um pequeno aquário na entrada. E é tudo muito acolhedor e próprio para hóspedes e moradores compartilharem o dia e a vida.

Lots of birds, fishes and ofcourse the marine life that is easy accessible from PapuArts Alter Native Stay. Family feeling; easily to feel at home with this lovely family of four (Helga, Timon and their 2 beautiful young daughters who love to make friends). Oh, and I forgot their two sweet dogs Ringo & Dingo 🐾🐾 Owners are very helpful and speak several languages so easy to communicate with them. Internet is sometimes a bit unstable so take that into account when expecting speedy replies (sometimes it just doesn’t work and patience is a good thing to have). The food - home style cooking (breakfast, lunch and dinner are all cooked by the owner and her team and she is a great cook; we loved every meal which was perfectly catered to our vegetarian / pescatarian wishes) The rooms are close to nature as well, with very comfy beds (we stayed in both the smaller and the biggest family room, which easily fits 3 respectively 4 people; the 3rd bed in the smaller room has a wonderful treehouse feeling and there is a bunkbed in the biggest room). Hard to capture the beauty of the rooms in just one picture (I took several but could only post one here with my review). You can hear the sea and birds from your bedroom. It’s right next to you. No frills, just natural materials, which we loved. Also no warm water, but easily to get used to. There’s a shower and mandi style shower. Also your own toilet. Plus the blue blue sea right at your doorstep and a lovely sitting area with a hammock to complete the zen-feeling. There’s a long jetty into the sea with a perfect spot for exercise/meditation/yoga at the end. Fitness with a view! It’s quiet and feels very private. You instantly feel relaxed here. Different excursions to choose from, both on land and on/under the sea. Please note: these come at an extra cost and Raja Ampat area is not cheap!!!!
