Upon arrival my hostess was quick to come and meet me outside making me feel very welcome. My room was very spacious with room to spread out my large suitcase on the extra bed. A full spread for tea and coffee was set in my room including biscuits and proper tea cups & saucers. There was milk (not artificial whitener) for my tea in a fridge that we could also use for our food. The bed was extremely comfortable with lots of pillows as well as all the linens and towels were great quality. The common spaces were modern and comfortable. And the hostess checked in before I went to bed. Great location to a lovely beach I wish I had booked this property for more than one night.

Beachfront Location: The Furthest Point West in Ballyconneely offers a private beach area and direct beachfront access. Guests can enjoy sea and mountain views from the property. Everything, this is a place I would like to return to, choose it if you have a chance.

The host was very friendly and breakfast was cooked on the spot, my omelette was perfect! The room was incredibly comfortable, quite spacious and with a nice view. The bathroom was not huge but had a nice bathtub and plenty of shelves for clothes and toiletries, plus it had a wooden towel rack which i appreciated a lot. After a long and tiring day it felt like a mini spa treatment 😊 Also, the host suggested I take a shortcut from Lehanagh to Phiarsaigh and it turned out to be spectacular, no other cars for miles and rugged beauty all around.

Quietly situated, Mountain View Guesthouse is an Irish Tourist Board approved family-run 4-star guest house. Everything was just perfect - Patricia was the perfect host giving us lots of great information on where to get dinner, local spots to visit and just general banter! We had the best room in the place (imo). Breakfast was fabulous and i felt thoroughly spoilt!

In a quiet corner of Clifden, this quiet haven of rich comfort and classic Irish hospitality is just 93 steps from the vibrant buzz of Clifden town centre. The breakfast was awesome . I ate at 9 am and was full till dinner time. The eggs with salmon is something i have never had better anywhere else. Very friendly family running the place like professionals

Buttermilk Lodge offers self-catering apartments 5 minutes' walk from Clifden town centre, you can just park your car and easily walk to town. We stayed in BnB's almost exclusively during our 2 weeks in Ireland and the Buttermilk was hands down the best of all. The room was lovely, breakfast out of this world and easy walk to town.

The apartment is cosy, decorated with lovely furniture and items. We went during new year and they had a Christmas tree set up! The view from the apartment is amazing as it's located in the connemara national park. Donna was super friendly and helpful during our stay, giving us traveling tips and everything we needed. Great apartment and great hosts. Will definitely recommend.

Very convenient location, only a few minutes drive from Clifden city center. Lovely space with incredible view of the ocean. Host was very responsive and checked in frequently to make sure everything was satisfactory. Continental breakfast was excellent and Catriona even checked in beforehand for food allergies and preferences. Would absolutely stay here again.
