Location was perfect for me, as it is near friends, but it's only a few mins drive from town.

Wow, Elizabeth, you have a gem of a property located close to town with lovely surrounding countryside. We arrived extremely late at night and you were there to welcome us, as tired as we were, we could not have asked for a better welcome. We had a wonderful room with all amenities and bathroom needs waiting for us. A wonderful night's sleep was had on a very comfortable bed. On our two days stay Elizabeth prepared a very personal breakfast for us each morning that was to die for. We left well fed for the day. With nice grounds to sit out in the sunshine or the guests personal reading room, adequate on-site parking. We wished we could have stopped longer but we had to head off to a certain Golf tournament that was being held at Royal Portrush. We look forward to returning at the first opportunity. Offering a restaurant, Riverbank, Country Pub and Guesthouse is located in the countryside 10 minutes’ drive from Carrickmacross. the customer service was excellent. Very comfortable bed. Clean and tidy. Lovely place to stay.

In the heart of the town of Monaghan, the family-owned Ashleigh House offers free WiFi. Guests can enjoy access to the garden and outdoor patio area. There is also a communal TV lounge. Very clean room with plenty of fresh clean towels in the ensuite and a lovely breakfast the next morning. I would highly recommend 👌🏻👍🏻

It was just a brief visit for me but Áine's communication was perfect and they kindly accommodated my late arrival. I arrived late and left early so I've little more to say other than I enjoyed my brief stay. I really appreciated Áine leaving out some fruit and breakfast things in the room.
