This was my favorite stay in India. We made a slight upgrade when arriving to the property for a nicer view. The location was great, we were provided amazing recommendations, even a last minute tour guide (that met us at our location when our tour guide didn’t show. We felt like family and like we were taken care of, looked after, with genuine kindness. The property was clean, smelled nice, no issues with mold (it’s frequent in India). Don’t bother looking at other properties, this is the one!

Firstly , I like the behavior of the owner (Mrs. S. Gupta). I have booked for two rooms for my family trip to Bodhgaya which I found to be clean and affordable as homestay. The location is the main advantage of this homestay which is 5 mins walking distance from Mahabodhi Temple. Also I loved their washroom and balcony of the building. This is ideal place for those people who love peaceful environment.

It is conveniently located near the Mahabodhi temple (short walking distance) and easy to find transportation to other city attractions both in Bodh Gaya/Gaya. Very close to Mahabodhi temple, the most kind and helpful staff, simple and very clean accommodation. It’s on one side of the Mahabodhi temple and there’s a direct path behind the temple without the craziness of the Main Street. It’s only a 5-minute walk to the temple/Local Market/Restaurant/Post office . Plenty of places to eat around and you can get tuktuks right outside the hotel. The staff is so friendly and helpful. They even helped me book a reliable taxi back to the airport/Market. They always made sure I was comfortable and were willing to help with anything. Highly recommended!!!

The place is simple but very comfortable. It has everything you need for a good stay in Bodhgaya. Very clean, bed and sheets very comfortable. Great location. Walking distance from Bodhi temple and complex. Mister Chachaji (I think that's how you write it) let me do early check-in and late check-out with no extra charges. I definitely recommend this place. As a female solo traveler, I felt safe and well taken care of.

The rooms and balcony are very spacious. Both the rooms have working A/C. Hot water system available 24 hrs. The access to the property is separate. The property was spotlessly clean and insect-free. There is a lot of legroom. The hosts were friendly, helped us book early morning auto rickshaws, and were knowledgeable about our general inquiries. We took our elderly mum with us, who needed special help occasionally, and they were very forthcoming and helpful. Thanks, Dimpy for being such a wonderful host.

The bed was medium to firm and comfortable. The bed also has mosquito netting. The bathroom is basic and functional, but very clean. The standard of cleanliness is almost Japanese throughout the house. There was a desk and chair to work on with many electrical points. Room had AC and ceiling fan, but the latter was sufficient in February. The room also had a balcony. Laundry facilities. The owners are an amazing family who can communicate in English, Hindi and Japanese.
