Our stay at Meet Mansion Homestay was absolutely fantastic, I can only talk in superlatives about our experience.  Meer Mansion is a nearly brand new building, constructed with high quality materials, everything sparkles inside, everything works, there is not a spot that isn't perfect. The hotel is kept impeccably clean. Our room was beautifully furnished, and had a large luxurious comfortable bed with great pillows. The marble bathroom had stylish modern fixtures, a good shower, and plenty of hot water. The location was ideal for us, immediately next to the magical - and for us very exotic - chikara boat harbour, which is the reason we came to Dal Lake. But what made our stay one of the best experiences ever is the efficient, kind, and helpful support of the charming young manager, Danish, who outpertformed himself to make us feel good. That made the difference between a good stay and an extraordinary one. He helped in too many ways to list, things like allowing us to check in early at 9 am, organize great boat rides, hire autorickshaws, advise us on how to avoid buying counterfits, give great sightseeing tips, and even ferry us on his own boat to the other side of the lake when we need it - all of that for absolutely free.
