We had an amazing experience staying at Shankar Homestay during our trip to Hampi. It’s one of the best homestays we’ve come across in terms of cleanliness, comfort, and the overall vibe. The rooms were spotless, with beautiful interiors, soft and cozy bedsheets, comfortable blankets, and warm lighting. They even provided toiletries, which was a thoughtful touch. Everything felt well-maintained and worth every penny. The outdoor area felt like a mini farmhouse—clean, peaceful, and with a charming village-like vibe. It was the perfect place to relax after exploring Hampi. The hosts, Ramu and his wife Kavitha, were amazing. They were friendly, warm, and always ready to help, which made us feel right at home. The location is great—away from the noisy tourist areas but just a 4-minute drive to all the main attractions in Hampi. A special mention goes to Mr. Anjaneya, or Anji, a family friend of the hosts. He drove us around in his auto-rickshaw and was more than just a driver—he was like a guide. He took us on a tour of Hampi, suggested the best places to eat non-veg food, and even helped us rent a bike. His tips and guidance made our trip so much easier and more enjoyable. Shankar Homestay is a perfect blend of comfort, great hospitality, and a peaceful vibe. We highly recommend it to anyone visiting Hampi!

The host Rajni ji was exceptionally so welcoming and inspite of the cook being on leave , she was so warm to cook local food for us which was fantastic. The location and the surrounding was serene and beautiful. The rooms were attached to a covered portico with swinging chair and then a huge verandah overlooking the garden . She was so kind to get us introduced to the best tour guide Mr. Hemant who was absolutely amazing and shared the information on the monuments, local history and showed his creativity with his skills on camera shooting . Overall a beautiful and memorable stay .

Lovely hotel with a friendly host who was always available when we needed anything and provided great recommendations in the area. It’s well located—just a five-minute tuk-tuk ride from the bus station or a 15-minute walk. The room was spacious, offering a kitchen, dining table, and living room, so we had plenty of space to relax. Highly recommend staying here if you’re in the area!

Location wise the Arjun Homestay is perfect. Very near to main attraction. Mr. Srinivas and his family welcomed us with such gracious hospitality. Breakfast was also very delicious specially masala dosa, felt like home feeling and it’s very cheap compared to other restaurants. The taste is incomparable. The room boy Khwaja was very modest and soft spoken and is always available for any need. The hospitality at Arjun homestay is at par. Room was spacious and very clean. The room also has all needed amneties. Hot water is available without any problem. Terrace is there for fresh air. And most importantly they arrange airport pick up and drop off if its needed with good price and tuk tuk tour to Hampi.

I had a wonderful stay at hampi roshini home stay, Room was very clean, well maintained , and had all the necessary amenities. The location was convenient and the facilities. I especially appreciate owner for great service and prompt housekeeping. I would highly recommend this place and look forward to staying again.. This home stay is close to most places . . Home stay food also recommend..We took rickshaw for 2 days onwer kindly help to saw sightseeing and nearby places..
