Lovely large clean room with spotless modern bathroom. Great sea view from the rooms large double window. Excellent AC and fan kept the room cool. The balcony was fantastic. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and huge quantities each day, served on the balcony. A different breakfast each day (dosa, apam,idli, hoppers, fruit, fresh juice, tea/coffee). Late afternoon tea and battered snacks provided each day. A useful shop downstairs. Over the road, then over a few rocks, it is possible to swim just 50m from the room - fantastic! The main beach is about a km up the road but I was happy with nipping over the wall. Very friendly and kind people running the place. Laxmi speaks excellent English.

Very nice, hospitable and welcoming hosts. The rooms are spotlessly clean, comfortable, airy and cool. The Keralan breakfasts were delicious. Lovely location across from the sea and 10 minutes walk to Kataddi beach. I booked for two nights and stayed for five and really enjoyed my time there. Highly recommended.

It's an experience that one will go through. Nice and warm welcoming host who takes care of you like a family. Very close to Cherai Beach and hence very advantageous. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and comfortable. Their warm hospitality and attention to detail really made my visit feel special. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and beautifully decorated, with all the things needed for a relaxing stay. The view from my room was stunning, and it was so peaceful that I could truly unwind. One of the highlights was the location – it’s just a short distance from Cherai Beach. The hotel offered a great variety of dishes, including some delicious local Kerala specialties, which were a treat! Breakfast was a delight. Overall, this stay exceeded my expectations, and I would highly recommend Blue Bird Homestay to anyone looking to enjoy Cherai Beach while staying in comfort and style. I can't wait to return!
