The hosts, a lovely local family, were extremely nice and welcoming. They were happy to chat, gave us useful information and cooked delicious dinners for us when we came back from visiting the sites. It was a great pleasure to stay with them and we really enjoyed their company and warm hospitality.

For a one-night stop in Dana this is a perfectly good budget option. I informed the staff that I planned to leave at about 7 am, and they kindly agreed to serve breakfast earlier than usual. Actually, I was ready to leave about 6:30, and they still prepared a simple but adequate breakfast for me. Much appreciated!

Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. We liked everything about this accommodation. It was our best in Jordan. Ali made us feel welcomed and like at home. He prepared breakfast and lunch box which was perfect for Petra visit. The location is perfect, close to Petra entry and close to restaurants. We also had balcony which was great. This place has its own parking spots which is very convenient.

We stayed at the Petra Olive House for one night and it was perfect ! The room is very cosy, so clean you could eat off the floor, the host was extremely kind ! Looking forward to visiting again and would 100% recommend staying at the Petra Olive House !

At the homestay, all units have bed linen and towels. Comfortable and clean, 20min walk downhill to Petra gate, extremely helpful and kind host. Best dinner I had in Jordan. Great view from the rooftop. The breckfast was huge and delicious. Mahmoud gave me a lot of very helpful information about Petra to plan my visit, and arranged the bus for me to Wadi rum.

With all the amenities, facilities and exceptional & accommodating service of Shadi(owner) and his staff Tina, Jessica and etc. We also got to meet several other friendly tourists including Leticia. Also Shadi upgraded our room to one with a very nice view overlooking Petra city center/downtown. Shadi also granted us late check out as we requested. Delicious dinner at extra minimal cost (15 JOD) and breakfast was tasty too. For our early morning trek to Petra after Shadi’s recommendations night before and as we can’t eat breakfast, Shadi and his team prepared lunch box for us with water, some fruits; dates, cereal bar, jam, cheese, honey & orange packed juice. Overall it was extremely fabulous guesthouse. Definitely recommended when in Petra!
