The house is absolutely wonderful, it seems to come out from anime!! Personally I had it all for myself, but it's so big it's great also for families! Yukie-San, the owner, was so welcoming and went above and beyond to help me in every possible way, from the amenities, to local gifts, to tips where to eat, what to try and experience. She even helped me with the links and maps positions of so many places and was always quick at answering! I promise you'll feel at home here and won't regret staying here even if it's just for a couple of nights!

The meals were delicious and the setting was tranquil and quaint. We were there with a lot of snow and the 92yo grandfather cleaned our car of snow, the driveway and built a fire in the stove! We also got a brief tour of the older part of the house and they showed us old b/w pictures of the wife's childhood in the house. The bathroom was clean and new and the bathwater was nice and hot! Very quiet at night, not too far from Obama town. Thank you for welcoming us into your home!

Located in the centre of Mikuni, a lovely seaside village in Fukui with a historic quarter. Mikuni Tsumesyo is located on the main street running along the axis, so it is conveniently located to everything you need. The house is truly amazing,, the photos do not do enough justice; gardens interior and design are all impeccable. I really enjoyed staying here but I wish could luve out of the house for an entire month.
